About the Role
In this role, you will support the development of the color, print and pattern identity for a product area. You will assist in developing seasonal print and woven concepts using a CAD system to create repeats, colorways, and scale variations of both purchased and original artwork. You'll need to partner closely with the design team and understand the brand aesthetic to achieve iconic and flawless concepts.
What You'll Do
Support in the development of seasonal print/color concepts and build out relevant print/yarn dye/ embroidery pattern stories from that concept that are on brand
Input prints and yarn dyes in CAD system in multiple colorways and various sizes, maximizing efficiency and organization and meeting deadlines
Maintain an understanding of print and CAD technology trends in the market, providing relevant imagery to communicate print trends and build seasonal color palettes and pattern boards
Assist in preparing artwork packages that comply with production ready standards, providing well defined recommendations to meet business requirements

Complete structured assignments based on stated priorities, such as maintaining an organized project identification system and ordering supplies.

About the Positions
We're seeking CAD Drafters at various levels to support large, heavy-civil infrastructure programs-including highways, roads, bridges, transit (including rail and bus), and airport projects delivered through both traditional and alternative methods. Your primary focus will be developing accurate and coordinated drawings and models to support the design, permitting, and construction of complex infrastructure projects. You will also be responsible for incorporating redlines from engineers and designers, maintaining drawing sets through multiple revisions, and ensuring conformance with applicable standards, specifications, and project requirements.

Responsibilities
may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Create accurate 2D and 3D drawings and models for civil infrastructure projects using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar CAD tools.
Interpret redlines, sketches, field data, and design markups to produce coordinated drawing sets and technical deliverables.
Develop plan views, profiles, cross sections, and other drawing types to support design, permitting, and construction documentation.
Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure drawings reflect project requirements and design intent.
Incorporate revisions, track changes, and maintain version control throughout the project lifecycle.
Apply agency standards, CAD layering conventions, and file-naming protocols consistently across all deliverables.
Assist in preparing drawing packages for submittals, permits, and construction.
Coordinate with multiple disciplines (civil, structural, MEP, etc.) to identify and resolve drawing or design issues.
Support quality control efforts by reviewing drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.

Minimum Qualifications
AAS degree in computer aided drafting or related field.
5+ years of experience in CAD Drafting for heavy civil construction or engineering projects, preferably in transit or public infrastructure.
Understanding of civil engineering concepts and construction documentation standards, including familiarity with site development, grading, drainage, and utility design.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, topographic surveys, and construction and technical specifications.
Understanding of file management, version control, and CAD standards.
Proficiency with AutoCAD (preferably 2023 or above), Civil 3D, or MicroStation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365 (e.g., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or civil engineering.
Experience with large (>$500M), complex, heavy-civil infrastructure projects that include highways, roads, bridges, transit (including rail and bus), and/or airport projects.
Experience delivering projects through both traditional and alternative methods (e.g., DB, CM/GC, P3).
Experience in similar roles supporting owners.
Knowledge of local and state design standards (e.g., DOT standards, stormwater regulations, etc.).
Proficiency with Revit, InfraWorks, or Navisworks.
Proficiency with industry standard project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.).
Compensation Details
The salary range listed for this role is $80k-$125k/year ($38-$60/hour). The final salary offered will be based on multiple factors and thoughtfully aligned with each candidate's level of experience, breadth of skills, total education achieved, certifications/licenses that have been obtained, geographic location, etc.
