Collaborates with the Technical Design Manager to support needs and expectations of the Tech area. Position requires creating and maintaining accurate files and reports.
Role Responsibilities
Build relationships/partnerships with cross functional team members, such as Design Product Development and Production.
Identify efficiencies within their brand or category to support CTM initiative.
Assist with seasonal trend block and construction development.
Manage workload to department initiatives.
Instruct and communicate to agents/factories the appropriate construction, fit and block information to ensure successful manufacturing while adhering to Design's concepts.
Conducts live and 3D fittings with/without designers to determine what fit and construction changes are necessary to achieve Design's requirements.
Advise repair options to factories on fit or quality related issues.
Evaluate best/worst sellers and competitors to make improvements in technical methods and fit for upcoming seasons.
Assigns base size garments measurements appropriate to each style that correlates to the three-dimensional body and desired end use.
Assures to use all appropriate cost cutting methods in style development.
Assigns appropriate grading to all points of measure keeping the proportion accurate in relation to our predetermined sizing.

Participate in technical training methods for agents and factories.
Role Qualifications
Expert knowledge in assembling a detailed technical package to communicate proper instruction to agents/factories for initial or in process style development.
Knowledgeable in pattern making, garment construction, and manufacturing including factory machinery, procedures, and methods within their category.
3D system experience
Solid experience of a minimum of 3 years conducting live fittings and determining the necessary pattern changes to create the desired look and fit.
Experience in assigning easily understood points of measure that will progress the style through development and secure the fit during production QC inspections
Ability to independently determine appropriate grade rules to all points of measure that correlate to each specific style and sizing.

Responsibilities:
Develop conceptual layouts, designs, and detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
Create comprehensive and functionally accurate plans, sections, and details for buildings, including interior layouts and finish selections
Ensure compliance with departmental drafting and design standards
Conduct architectural building surveys-individually or as part of a team-to document existing conditions for accurate design updates
Prepare and revise architectural drawings and project documents, including reports and schedules
Coordinate drawings across all construction disciplines to minimize field conflicts
Collaborate with project managers to review specifications and verify drawing accuracy
Redline consultant drawings for quality control
Manage electronic job files and maintain project folders according to department standards
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Architectural Engineering or related field preferred
4-6 years of experience in architectural drafting and design within a Design-Build Firm, Architectural Firm, or Commercial Real Estate Development environment
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
Strong understanding of engineering principles, mathematics, and industry standards
Able to take accurate field measurements and develop electrical and architectural layouts
Detail-oriented, self-directed, and capable of managing multiple assignments with minimal supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in project coordination, construction administration, and fieldwork preferred

Estimator - Design Mechanical Engineer

This is an exempt salary position where the employee is responsible for designing and estimating mechanical work projects within the Conveyors manufacturing group specializing in developing tailor-made, cost-effective analytical solutions for conveyor systems.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
* Minimum Three (3) Years Mechanical Design Experience Required
* Minimum Three (3) Years Estimator Experience Required
* Two-to-Five (2-5) Years Demonstrated CADD Experience Required
* Ross ERP & Microsoft Dynamics Customer Relations Management (CRM) Software Experience Preferred

* Analyze labor, material, equipment, time requirements, etc. through material take-offs of detailed drawings.
* Interface with Corporate Purchasing Department for pricing to prepare detailed, organized estimates of costs.
* Present prepared estimates by compiling numerical and descriptive information.
* Prepare and submit required reports.
* Perform any other related job duty as requested by executive or plant management to ensure timely, accurate project design and estimation.

Draftsman
Computer aided design designer job in Stoystown, PA
Lincoln Contracting & Equipment is seeking an experienced CAD layout draftsman who is familiar with creating detailed layouts of material handling applications for coal and/or sand/gravel applications. The candidate must be an experienced AutoCAD operator and have prior experience within the material handling industry. Autodesk Inventor experience is a plus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Develop CAD layouts using AutoCAD software to support the 3D modeling process of material handling components, particularly belt conveyors and associated structures/equipment.
Education and Experience:
Experience in AutoCAD, Inventor, or Tekla software is preferred.
Familiarity with conveyor belt design (Belt Analyst software) would be considered a plus.
An associate's degree from a two-year college or university is desired but not required. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
Other:
Must be available to work overtime as required.
Compensation would be based on experience.
