What You'll Do

What We're Looking For
3-5 years of experience in 3D modeling, rendering, or visualization, ideally in architecture, experiential design, or interior/brand environments. Experience with well-known consumer or lifestyle brands is a plus.
Proficiency in SketchUp is required; experience with Vscape, Blender, V-Ray, or 3ds Max is a bonus.
Hands-on, resourceful, and eager to roll up your sleeves-more junior candidates who can get things done are welcome.
Candidates in Portland or Costa Mesa are preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a remote, home office role.

* Develop and maintain Site Planning, CAD blocks, drawing templates, typical drawings and equipment planning specification sheets for Canon products ensuring all information is: accurate, clear, complete and in compliance with all standards and specifications.
* Provide CAD training to the Site Planning Group to enhance planning skills and to maintain department drawing standards for all modalities with multi-layer drawings, paper/model space, embedded attributes, archiving, and plotting.
* Support the Site Planning Department as requested in meeting or exceeding workload requirements in producing preliminary and final site plans for all modalities and ensure equipment information and specifications are correct and that there are no errors and omissions prior to distribution for CMSU equipment installations.
* Compile and consolidate Canon Medical Systems Corporation (CMSC) engineering drawings and documents and convert it to the required drawing information formats utilized by CMSU for the Site Planning group.
* Collaborate with CAD Applications Specialist to provide 3-dimensional drawing information to support Canon's Envision360 drawing platform.
* Attend New Product Release (NPR) meetings as required for all modalities to assist Site Planning Modality Specialist with new product release to ensure necessary technical drawing information is provided to Site Planners.
* Provide input to CAD Applications Specialist/Management for new computer hardware and software as appropriate to ensure that the equipment utilized by the Site Planning department is up to date and In line with industry standards.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Expert knowledge of Computer Aided Drafting, 3D Modeling and associative drawing software and hardware applications as well as proficient knowledge of construction practices.
* Working knowledge of all Canon modalities or medical planning experience.
* Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills.
* Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven ability in developing and maintaining effective internal and external working relationships.
* International and Domestic Travel required approximately 10% - 15% of the time.
* AutoDesk Certification recommended

3. Fabrication Planning & Method Development

4. CNC & CAM Programming

5. Equipment Maintenance & Oversight

6. Project Leadership & Team Coordination

About this Role
QUES (PAR Western Line Contractors LLC dba) safely provides engineering, procurement and construction services for comprehensive infrastructure needs in the electric power, oil, and natural gas industries. QUES has the knowledge and expertise to handle a full spectrum of projects. From the most straightforward, single-component installation to the most complex, multi-state project, QUES handles the job safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Drafter with a strong background in base mapping and Southern California Edison (SCE) drafting standards. The ideal candidate will be proficient in GeoView, possess a solid understanding of utility mapping, and be capable of producing high-quality drafting deliverables that support engineering and infrastructure projects. What You'll Do
Utilize survey data to develop precise base maps for utility and infrastructure planning.
Draft city infrastructure elements including streetlights, sewer lines, storm drains, curbs, gutters, and other public assets.
Apply SCE-specific drafting standards across various base mapping projects.
Committed to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of evolving SCE drafting guidelines and procedures.
Create Single Lines, vicinity maps, index sheet, and viewports
Tie down structures (station and dimension all Edison Structures to proper standards)
Utilizes AutoCAD /AUD to create Base maps from Survey and GeoView.
Implementing city utilities such as water, storm drain, sewer, and any other utilities that are in the project area using city as-builts provided by our Look-Up Department
Following up on city utilities request form our Look-Up department
Re-drawing Edison Underground ducts and cables in AUD using GeoViews offsets and dimensions.
Maintain and organize digital files and documentation in accordance with company and client protocols.
Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with drafting standards and project requirements.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field teams to ensure accurate and timely drafting deliverables.
Work a regular 40‐hour workweek, with overtime as required.
Work on multiple projects simultaneously and submit deliverables on time.
What You'll Bring
Basic knowledge and ability to utilize AutoCAD and AUD software.
Ability to accurately interpret underground utility layouts, including SCE cable and duct runs.
Experience reading overhead electrical system callouts and integrating them into drafting deliverables.
Ability to code routines within AutoCAD
Knowledge of general civil drafting practices
Ability to read and understand City As-Builts and civil maps
Ability to utilize online maps to gather information.
Proficiency in GeoView, AutoCAD, and GIS platforms.
Able to learn quickly and change focus when needed.
Ability to multi‐task, with good organizational, planning and communications skills.
Proficient computer skills required.
A minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in design and estimation, or an engineering degree or a Cal Poly Planner Certification, is highly preferred.
Ability to interpret technical drawings.
Has a broad knowledge of engineering principles, construction standards, and industry practices.
Must have a positive attitude and an exemplary work ethic.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and determine priorities in a complex environment.

Broadley-James Corporation designs and manufactures high-quality pH and dissolved oxygen (DO) measurement solutions for both life science and industrial process applications. We are seeking a detail-oriented SolidWorks Drafter to create accurate 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings of our manufactured pH sensors and related components. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm.
The ideal candidate is highly proficient in SolidWorks, comfortable working from physical samples and legacy documentation, and capable of producing clear, controlled drawings suitable for manufacturing, inspection, customer requirements and documentation purposes.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Create and maintain 3D part and assembly models in SolidWorks, primarily based on existing components and assemblies
Generate 2D drawings including dimensions, tolerances, notes, and views required for manufacturing and quality inspection
Convert legacy drawings, sketches, or undocumented parts into standardized SolidWorks models and drawings, in accordance with company expectations
Apply company drawing standards, naming conventions, and revision control requirements
Update drawings to reflect approved changes and maintain drawing accuracy over time
Organize and manage CAD files within the company's document control system
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and purchasing teams to clarify drawing requirements
Measure and document physical parts using calipers, micrometers, and other basic metrology tools, where necessary
Support audits, supplier communication, and internal documentation needs as required
Abilities:
Ability to accurately translate physical parts into 3D models and 2D drawings
Ability to work methodically with high attention to detail and dimensional accuracy
Ability to follow established drafting standards, templates, and revision controls without deviation

ALIGCUS Construction is hiring a Mandarin-speaking Architectural drafter/designer.
This position needs to work for both our US company at office and China design team remotely. Our company primarily works on AutoCAD to complete construction schematics to prepare for city or county approval. Knowledge of municipal building codes is necessary as well.
Job Description:
1. responsible for coordinating with architects and municipal government departments related to personal communication, building program drawing, construction drawing, construction, and communication work;
2. responsible for communicating and cooperating with China design team and US design team, translating for both teams to make work done more efficiently;
3. Work time from Mon-Thurs 10AM-7PM, Fri 9AM-6PM, 1 hour meal time
Qualifications:
1. fluent both in English and Mandarin;
2. proficiency in various types of design software, AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, 3D Max, sketch-up, PS, etc. (the company can provide relevant training and supplies);
3. 2-3 year architectural design experience
