Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Design mechanical part of new chemical monitoring or management systems, modules, assemblies, or parts. Work with mechanical, electrical and software engineering groups and R&D to define and review designs and test plans.
Create COs to release new parts, assemblies, systems and supporting documentation.
Experience in design or related study in microfluidic systems and dispensing, material science, spectrophotometry or fiber-optics, mechanical/electrical engineering, physics, or related disciplines are desired.
Must have a strong background in engineering or the physical science and demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills.

* Work for a specific discipline, under the direct supervision of a Structural Engineer, or other technical professional
* Be responsible for their discipline model and will generate the BIM elements, based on the Level of Development (LOD) outlined in the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and project scope. Create and maintain the discipline model, systems, content, and overall digital delivery output for that discipline

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be able to read and understand architectural drawings and extract information needed for the design and implementation of audiovisual systems.

Revise drawings using notes and “red lines” received from the Shop, Field Technicians, Project Managers and Engineers.

Creation of any other types of drawings that Management deems necessary for jobs or projects that Verrex is involved with.
Must show proficiency in use and understanding of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Visio, Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and other applications required to perform drafting duties.

Position Summary
The Junior CADD Technician for the Survey Group is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using specialized computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software. This role involves collaborating with surveyors and engineers to develop and revise designs, ensuring all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations. This position is based in our Woodbury, Long Island (Nassau County) location.
Responsibilities
Prepare survey drawings including, but not limited to Boundary, Right of Way, Topographic and As-Built Surveys.
2D/3D Drafting
Perform research for utility records, survey maps and property deeds.
Assisting project managers on an as needed basis and working on multiple projects.
Other general duties include printing, scanning, and organizing CADD drawings.
