Job Description Design engineer will develop test systems designs for aerospace components, including test fixtures/adapters, drive systems, tooling, sheet metal, piping layout. Design engineer must work with project engineering staff to develop preliminary sketches, specify materials/tolerances and develop final drawings for manufacture Qualifications • Knowledge of manufacturing processes is a must. • Knowledge of rotating machinery design such as bearings, gearing, splines is highly desirable. • Must be flexible and have strong desire to learn in small company environment. Growing company is engaged in the design, development and manufacture of custom test equipment for hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical components for aircraft.
