Develop preliminary sketches and designs based on early engineering efforts.
Prepare Autodesk Plant Design or Cadworks Plant designs from general instruction and/or preliminary sketches, diagrams, or schematics.

Schedule requires on-site presence five days a week. Flexibility is essential, as the role may involve responding promptly to urgent design changes or engineering requests as they arise.
Responsibilities
Prepare detailed drawings and layouts for mechanical, electrical, and structural components using AutoCAD and SolidWorks (or equivalent software).
Collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to interpret design specifications and ensure accuracy in all documentation.
Revise and update existing engineering drawings and models based on feedback or design changes.
Ensure that all drawings adhere to company and industry standards and best practices.
Manage and organize electronic files and documentation related to drafting and design projects.
Assist in developing bills of materials (BOMs) and supporting documents for manufacturing.
Conduct design reviews and provide technical input to improve design processes and efficiencies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, CAD software, and best practices.

Requirements
2+ years of experience as a Drafter Designer or similar role.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent design software.
Knowledge of drafting principles, manufacturing processes, and engineering standards.
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Drafting, Design Technology, or a related field preferred.
