CNC Coordinator works with engineering, supervision, and machinists to develop new CNC-related processes. They implement CNC processes by directing, training, and working with machinery and machine shop personnel.

You will have the opportunity to:

* Provides job guidance, support, and training for peer CNC Coordinators and Machinists
* Records situations and actions taken for future review, such as incident reporting
* Understands and supports company policies, evaluates progress and reports to supervisor
* Encourages team to meet and exceed expectations safely and without loss of quality
* Performs minor maintenance on equipment as necessary, works with Supervisor and engineering in scheduling factory service on machines when required
* Works with Mechanical or Electrical groups as needed to help resolve equipment issues.
* Creates new CNC programs and set-ups, while maintaining current programs and set-up sheets
* Assists Supervisor and engineering in the planning and creation of blueprints, sketches, process drawings, and other communication related to new or changed CNC machining processes
* Participates in the design and selection of machining fixtures and inspection equipment
* Works with EHS to assure that all processes meet health and safety requirements
* Works with Supervisor in the selection of machine shop personnel to be involved in various special CNC-related projects
* Works with vendors in the evaluation and selection of CNC-related machines and tooling for implementing new processes or improving existing processes
* Work with Supervisor and Leads to maintain consumables on the shop floor
* Work with Supervisor, Planning, Engineering and Leads to set, and meet delivery
* Works with outside departments to develop accurate lead times and cost estimates

REQUIREMENTS:

* Individual must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
* Experience with CAD/CAM is critical. Gibbs is required. Solidworks is a plus
* Must be a qualified AA Machinist with completion of an approved machinist apprenticeship program or 8 years or more of demonstrated experience as a journeyman machinist equivalent
* Must have a strong knowledge of shop math, cutting tools, speeds feeds / material characteristics, and complex CNC programs/controls with in-depth experience in the set-up/operation of conventional and complex CNC machine tools
* Must possess basic computer skills, such as Microsoft Office products and email
* Must demonstrate mechanical ability
* Must have good verbal and written skills
* Must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills to provide customer service

The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

The candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.

The computer systems coordinator facilitates the integration of data, information, and knowledge to support patients, nurses, and other providers in the decision-making process for all roles and settings. Support is made possible through the use of information structures, information processes, and information technology.

Participate in the planning, development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of automated clinical information systems. These activities may include database building, programming, data collection and cataloguing of gathered information. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the process involved in these activities. Collaborate with clinical information systems project manager(s) in evaluation of development efforts, in planning pilot and full implementation of new clinical information features, and in processing user feedback requests. Provide consultation to committees, work groups, or task forces as needed to communicate and facilitate the ongoing progress of the development, implementation and revision of the clinical information systems. Maintain a detailed understanding and working knowledge of the current clinical information system, its functions and its relationship to other information systems within the enterprise. Proactively seeks input from and responds appropriately to requests and concerns from users or others affected by the system. Implement and maintain clinical information systems security and confidentiality mechanisms in accordance with user and/or facility policies and procedures. Provide proactive user support of the clinical information systems by assisting in the development of training and in-service programs. Participate in systems analysis and research related to the clinical information systems. Perform audits, support, train and trouble shoot for Kronos Scheduler and Timecard System.Recommend modifications to reduce user problems, analyzes system for proper payment of new pay programs, interact with Information Systems Analyst and others to restore service and/or correct core problems. Provide first level support to employees and managers for use of Kronos system. Execute payroll using input, overrides and adjustments to insure accuracy of pay and department charges, transferring staffing to appropriate positions. Responsible for administration of varying pay practices under Department of Nursing, Surrey Place, Surgical Services, and ancillary services. Performs other work duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Knowledge of electronic health records and payroll systems preferred.

Experienced with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Education

High School required.

Bachelor's degree stongly prefered.

Experience

Participation in a clinical information systems implementation cycle preferred (design team member, trainer, end user).

Working Conditions

Employee is required to sit continuously and walk occasionally. Employee must lift/carry a light (1-20 lbs) load frequently. Employee is occasionally required to reach forward and reach overhead. For repetitive action, employee is required to use both hands for simple grasping, pushing/pulling, and frequently keyboarding tasks. Employee is occasionally exposed to electrical hazards.
