Responsibilities * Set-up and operate CNC machines to produce custom tooling/parts using various materials, ensuring adherence to customer specifications. * Perform routine maintenance and replace any tool heads as needed. * Load raw materials into CNC machine to produce parts. * Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models. * Monitor machine operation to detect any problems or errors, make recommendations. * Adhere to all safety standards and regulations including appropriate personal protective equipment. * Inspect finished products using precision measuring equipment (calipers, gages, and micrometers) to ensure they meet required tolerances and specifications. * Document and report any issues or irregularities that may arise during the machining process. * Collaborate with other machinists and team members to troubleshoot and solve production issues. * Continuously improves skills and knowledge through training and experience to increase productivity and efficiency. * Must be able to achieve quality and production goals. * Use hand tools, inspection tools and machinery as needed. * All other duties as assigned. Requirements/Qualifications: * Experience with CNC machines specifically 3 and 5 axis. * Attention to detail, quality and safety mindset. * Basic blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge. * Understanding the relationship of speeds and feeds with various materials. * Strong analytical, mathematical, and computer skills. * Problem solving and trouble shooting skills. * Effective written and verbal communication skills. * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to take direction and work as a team. * Must have the ability to operate industrial trucks, and overhead cranes. * High School diploma or GED required. * Ability to meet the physical demands of the job. * Standing for long periods of time, lifting loads up to 50 pounds, bending, stooping, twisting.
