Make minor repairs to molds in presses such as polishing gates and details and remove stuck parts. Conduct mold changeovers in a timely manner by retrieving and storing inserts. Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED Technical education preferred May accept previous work experience in the Tool & Die field in lieu of diploma 3-5 years experience in Tool & Die repairing and building of compression and injection molds and progressive dies Working knowledge of hydraulics and programmable logic controllers. Must have the ability to make technical decisions involved with mold & die repair to include replacement & fitting of parts. Ability to determine the cause of mold malfunctions and design a plan to correct the problems. Ability to retain the knowledge of mold changeovers. Tig welding experience.
