* Responsible to write, create, and test CNC programs. * Ensure the produced CNC programs are optimized. * Performs adjustments to adhere to established specifications or revisions. * Monitor machining times and optimize it from time to time by recommending new machining techniques and methods to refine existing programs to programmers. * Maintain the jigs and fixture. * Keep machinery and work area in a clean, safe, maintained, and organized. * Keep waste low, minimize scrap, use labor efficiently, and account for all parts on jobs. * Improve on product through-put via additional operations such as multiple machine operation, deburring, cleaning, etc. whenever possible. * Assist in other areas in order to meet the production needs of Essex and its customers. * Comply with all PPE and machine guarding as necessary with each job.
