As a CNC Laser Operator, you will be responsible for producing sheet metal parts using a laser/punch combination machine. This is a hands-on production role in a clean, fast-paced environment. Core responsibilities include:
Loading and unloading sheet metal into CNC laser machines

CNC Machinist Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline is a plus
3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
Previous experience with Mazatrol or Fanuc is a plus (Mazak QT 100M, Mazak Nexus 200M, Mazak QT 250, Mazak QTU-250MY, Yama Seiki Goodway GLS-2000LYS)
Computer savvy and familiarity with programming and interpreting CNC software
Experience utilizing a tow motor is a plus
Capable of programming the machine by entering instructions, including zero and reference points, setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches, calculating requirements, and proving part programs
Capable of troubleshooting processes, adjusting and reprogramming controls, changing inserts and replacing worn tools
Capable of setting up lathes or mills by installing fixtures, attachments, and tools necessary to complete jobs according to specifications is a plus
Ability to read and interpret work orders and blueprints (materials, specifications, and geometric dimensions and tolerances or GD&T) to machine products accurately
Perform inspections of equipment, materials and products
Prepare and loads raw materials and parts onto the machines
Monitors the machines while they execute the tasks and makes any necessary adjustments to produce a better result
Documents actions by completing production and quality logs
Checks daily to ensure functionality
Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations

Job Summary
We are seeking CNC Operators / Machinists to join our team in Blue Ash, Ohio. This is a full-time position for both the first and second Shifts. The role involves operating CNC mills, lathes, and/or grinders to manufacture parts that meet customer specifications and production standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
Set up machines using general shop tools (e.g., wrenches, screwdrivers) and precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, indicators) following detailed setup procedures.
Operate machines to manufacture parts using fixtures, shuttles, clamps, and associated tooling to locate parts for machining.
Complete required documentation (e.g., travelers, deviation tickets) with inspection information for parts run as required.
Perform in-process and first-piece inspections using standard precision measuring equipment to ensure parts meet specifications outlined on operation sheets or blueprints.
Maintain an accurate daily log of parts processed, significant dimensions, machining parameters, and general information pertaining to the operation performed.
De-burr parts using hand tools, air grinders, and manual machine operation.
Perform preventive and routine maintenance to maintain machine performance.

Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma, GED, or vocational school graduate with coursework in mechanical drawing, shop mathematics, and machining practices.
One to two years of prior machining experience.
Experience with precision measuring equipment and reading plots and/or blueprints.
Attention to detail is required to prevent damage to parts and machine tools.
Ability to obtain a forklift operator's license and operate a forklift safely when applicable.
Physical Requirements
Regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
Frequently required to stoop, climb, reach at or above shoulder level, and push or pull wheeled items weighing up to 100 pounds.
Occasionally required to squat, kneel, and lift up to 60 pounds independently or up to 100 pounds with assistance.
