General Summary:
Operates a single or multiple spindle numericalcontrolled drilling machine to perform such operations as drilling, reaming, boring, tapping, grooving, slotting etc. Follows predetermined procedures. POSITION DESCRIPTION
The NC Programmer plans machining sequences and fixturing for 3-5 axis machine tools.
The following essential job functions are performed as an NC Programmer:

Designs 3-D computer models, drawings and specifications for fabrication of fixturing elements

Accurate use of precision measuring instruments (ie: micrometers, calipers, etc,) and working to tight tolerances
