The CNC Setup Machinist is responsible for fabricating parts on numerically controlled machine and working from design and specifications, determines machining requirements and prepares a mathematical definition of the part to be produced. Performs set up operations for all types of work orders per SMED process sheet. Validates unproven CNC programs for first time manufacture.
