Position Summary:
A CNC Operator, or CNC Machine Operator, is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of manufacturing machinery. Their duties include running tests before the start of operations, Operator will load, unload, and inspect parts during the machining process. Operator will be responsible for the quality of the parts being produced and for achieving production standards. * Maintains accurate part counts, fills out Box Tags, and Job/Quantity Tracker.
* Reports and asks supervisor/lead for assistance with any machining problems.
* Follows documented operator procedures such as inspection check sheets and posted operator notes
* Maintains a clean work area and observes all safety procedures
* Can execute machine offsets and insert changes with direction of supervisor or lead-person.
