The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating and programming HOMAG or similar CNC machines in a woodworking or millwork environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines, including HOMAG routers, safely and efficiently. Load and set tools, workholding devices, and materials. Write and edit programs at the machine or offline using CAM software. Transfer programs between machines and design software (e.g., Mastercam or similar). Adjust work offsets, tool wear lengths, and cutter compensation as needed. Identify and replace dull or damaged tooling. Modify tooling and fixtures for optimal performance. Perform periodic maintenance of machine, vacuum pumps and dust collector. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and geometric tolerancing. Ensure all parts meet dimensional and quality specifications. Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience operating CNC machines in a woodworking or similar environment. Direct experience with HOMAG or comparable CNC machinery. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints. Understanding of G & M codes; ability to edit code as needed. Familiarity with Mastercam, SolidWorks, or similar CAD/CAM software is a plus. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
