Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Surfcam, Autocad, Solidworks, Esprit, Mastercam, or equivalent). Hands-on experience with HAAS, FADAL, and DMG-MORI 3 and 4 axis CNC machines. Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, G Code, M Code and machining / Setup practices. Good working knowledge and understanding of tooling and proper usage, as well as speed & feed calculation. Materials - Aluminum, Stainless, Plastics, and Steel. Ability to use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, indicators, CMM etc.). Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong organizational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications: Formal training in CNC machining or related technical field. Experience in both prototype and production machining environments. Familiarity with ISO quality standards is a plus Physical qualifications and work environment: Must be able to lift 50 lbs; Must be able to sustain physical work for 8+ hours per day including the following: Standing for 8+ hours per day Reaching and pulling Sight Walking through shop Bending, climbing and crouching. Shop noise levels are such that protective ear-coverings are recommended. Short notice, overtime and some weekend demand according to production needs.
