Performs periodic checks and daily routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Inspects parts after completion of each operation to ensure they meet drawing specifications, tolerances and quality standards. Places finished parts in proper bins. Rotates and operates different assigned machines as production needs require. Moves materials as needed for machining. Ensures maximum output for work area; manages time effectively in order to meet strict time deadlines and production volumes. Visually inspects parts for quality and reports any issues to Team Lead or Supervisor. Updates the ERP for work performed. Maintains required documentation as directed. Detects and reports improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials, and any unusual conditions to Team Lead and/or Supervisor. Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition; ensures equipment is in good operating condition. Attends and participates in monthly safety meetings.
