Job Duties and Responsibilities

**Work Environment**
Work in a manufacturing shop that includes welding, machining, assembly, packing, and shipping. The facility is non-climate controlled, and PPE such as steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and jeans are required. Analyze blueprints, sketches, and specifications to plan and execute machining operations
Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, EDM, pantographs, and grinders to produce parts
Assemble, fit, and verify tools, dies, molds, and fixtures to exact tolerances
Perform repairs, heat-treating, and modifications on existing tools
Ensure compliance with safety, quality (ISO 9001), and environmental (ISO 14001) standards
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in tool and die making, including a 4-year apprenticeship or equivalent
Proficiency in precision machining, blueprint reading, and working to tolerances as tight as .0001"
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in a manufacturing setting with moving parts and moderate noise
Strong mathematical and reasoning skills for dimensions, ratios, and problem-solving
High school diploma or equivalent; related training preferred
