Setup, adjust and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto machines Observe and listen to operating machines or equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions and to determine need for adjustments or repairs Set controls to regulate machining or enter commands to retrieve & input computerized machine control media Requirements: 2+ years experience operating Fanuc Control 3 & 5 axis CNC Machines, preferred 2+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing environment, preferred Gantry style machining experience, preferred Ability to read, understand and follow step by step procedures Experience using/reading mechanical measuring tools Familiar with 5S manufacturing procedures Dependable, team-oriented, and good communication skills Trustworthy, honest and person of good character Follow Company Safety rules and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required Excellent attendance and positive attitude is required Reliable Transportation required Must be a US citizen or current green card holder Working Conditions: Some overtime may be necessary with or without notice The essential duties job may require the ability to stoop; to reach; to stand, and to walk for extended periods of time; to push and/or pull objects weighing up to 30 pounds; to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds; to use finger dexterity to operate a computer and other office equipment and hand strength to grasp files and other objects; to perceive the attributes of objects by touch; to hear and verbally exchange ideas and information with the public, staff and others in the office. Occasionally Lifting and carrying (with assistance) items weighing 75-150 lbs. Must be able to wear safety PPE equipment, as required. Noise levels may require hearing protection.
