Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented CAD/BIM Operator to join our team!
Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and edit drawings using AutoCAD and Revit to support capital projects spanning the entire project life cycle from preliminary to final design, procurement, as-builts, project monitoring, and control;
Update existing standard and design directive drawings with revisions presented from project engineering and project management discussions;
Review and analyze CAD/Revit-related deliverables from the various phases of the project life cycle;
Verify accuracy of drawings, compatibility of work across disciplines, and accuracy and level of detail for quantity calculations;
Provide training and mentoring of less experienced technicians;
Maintain project contract records, plans and specifications, and related engineering and administrative records;
Collaboratively work with both internal and external stakeholders to offer suggestions for eliminating issues related to modern design concepts and existing ones;
Adhere to practices, policies, and procedures for CAD/BIM standards, document revision, and configuration control;
Attend monthly progress meetings;
Perform additional assignments as directed by the Task Manager.
Background and Experience Required:
Associate's degree, or higher, in drafting or a related field; or in lieu of degree, a minimum of five (5) years of experience in CAD or BIM infrastructure projects;
Five (5) years of experience using CAD software (AutoCAD and/or Revit);
Understanding of electrical engineering principles;
Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong analytical technical writing skills;
Extensive experience with all Microsoft applications.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
This serves as the generic description for the current PTOC staff for the following 6 types of roles currently needed for the MCTP program:
Exercise Analyst
Collects and manages data pertaining to military warfighting function (WfF) (movement and maneuver, intelligence, fires, sustainment, mission command, and protection) procedures, decisions, and orders during computer assisted military training exercises for Army Brigades, Divisions, and Corps. Works closely with military WfF Chief, Observer Controller/Trainers and other exercise analysts; collects computer generated data, as well as Observer Controller/ Trainer observations, analyzes data and prepares visual products for After Action Reviews in coordination with military WfF counterparts. Develops and produces graphic products for exercise unit After Action Reviews. Gains and maintains awareness and understanding of the NGTS Archiving and Enhanced Retrieval System (ARCHER); which includes the ARROW reports organizer, Ballista, a unit database management tool for the Crosshair Viewer and Crosshair, a unit database, map, graphics and reports plotting tool. Gains and maintains proficiency in Joint Warfighting Function courses for WfF position occupied. Gains and maintains awareness and understanding of current and emerging Joint doctrine for ASCC, JTF and JFLCC organizations.
Basic Qualifications: Minimum; Former Field Grade officer. Must have, or be able to obtain, a DoD SECRET Clearance. Familiar with current Army/Joint doctrine. Highly proficient with MS Office suite of software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Collects and manages data pertaining to Opposing Force (OPFOR) military Warfighting function (WfF) (movement and maneuver, intelligence, fires, sustainment, mission command, and protection) procedures, decisions, and orders during computer assisted military training exercises for Army brigades, divisions, and corps. Works closely with WCOPFOR Commanders: collects computer generated data, analyzes data and prepares visual products for After Action Reviews in coordination with military WfF counterparts. Develops and produces graphic products for exercise unit After Action Reviews. Maintains proficiency in the various simulations and models and AAR systems supporting Army training exercises. Responsible for using military education and experience to develop data collection plans keyed to exercise objectives; assessing WCOPFOR performance and providing recommendations for improvements. Uses knowledge of military doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures to analyze WCOPFOR operations within a computer simulation. Prepares analytical reports outlining such computer simulation outputs; deviations and consequences.

Serves as a Warfighting Function (WfF) (movement and maneuver, intelligence, fires, sustainment, mission command, and protection) subject matter expert and supporting multifunctional areas on a team of contractors supporting the Army's Mission Command Training Program (MCTP). Trains military personnel on the Warfighter Simulation (WARSIM) and WfF specific simulation processes and procedures. Enforces realism of exercise through role playing and conflict adjudication and resolution. Supervise the work cell mission of translating training audience operations and plans in to simulation inputs/taskings and scripting requirements. Train and support work cell augmentees in reporting, role playing elements subordinate to the training audience. Ensure that the work cells WfF units/assets are simulated IAW current doctrine and unit SOP. Supports the After Action Review (AAR) process by communicating significant events using the Workstation Reporting System (WRS). When required, assists in exercise design and scenario development. Maintains awareness and understanding of current and emerging Army & Joint doctrine for Army Brigades, Divisions, and Corps.
Basic Qualifications: Former field grade or senior non-commissioned officer. Must have, or be able to obtain, a DoD SECRET Clearance. Familiar with current Army/Joint doctrine. Highly proficient with MS Office suite of software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Preferred Qualifications: Intermediate Level Education (MEL 4) or Sergeants Major Course graduate equivalent. Brigade or higher staff officer experience. Previous experience in computer assisted simulation training. Previous experience as an instructor at a military course of instruction. Prior experience as an Observer Coach/Trainer. Army training exercise design experience.
EXPERIENCE AND CREDENTIALS:
Military experience and knowledge of US Army organizations, systems and operations desired.
Must have excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Will be required to undergo and pass applicable background checks. Must be a United States Citizen to support this government contract, possess and maintain a current SECRET level security clearance.

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing various activities related to the identification and management of sex offenders in the adult correctional facilities. Work includes explaining, clarifying, and interpreting operational practices, procedures, regulations and activities for KDOC staff, contract providers, and the general public.
Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
This position manages various aspects of the sex offender management program of the KDOC, and manages various projects and processes related to risk reduction.
This position monitors all sex offenders, male and female, being assessed at admission for risk level to determine level of treatment needed. Reviews decisions regarding risk for quality assurance. Consults with SOP providers to ensure treatment is assessed and residents are identified appropriately for treatment. Consults with RDU and SOP staff regarding individual cases as needed. Reviews sex offenders for screening for placement in CBT groups and work release, conducting necessary file research and review, applying evidence-based factors, and making a decision regarding placement. This will involve effective, regular communication with the KDOC sex offender management team, RDU and other facility staff, and stakeholders as necessary. This includes for male and female offenders. The incumbent will successfully complete and maintain current training in all assessments utilized.
Reviews, investigates, and makes decisions concerning requests for minor contact by offenders managed as sex offenders with prior minor victims. This includes reviewing case material; interviewing the offender, caretaker and in appropriate cases minor(s); using an evidence-based tool to assess risk to the minor(s); identifying safety and caretaker plans and strategies if contact is to occur to mitigate risk; preparing summaries of information that support the conclusion; presenting the decision to the override committee, offender and facility; and monitoring compliance. Also participates in and supports the override process for sex offenders on other issues, providing input and information as needed.
Conducts due process hearings for offenders to determine in appropriate cases whether the offender should be managed as a sex offender, in the absence of a conviction for a sex crime or journal entry indication sexually motivated; makes decisions concerning whether to manage the offender as a sex offender; takes appropriate follow up steps to inform the offender and facility; contacts the SOP provider to assess whether the offender requires treatment.
Reviews case files on sex offenders who did not enter or succeed in treatment to assess the causes, and identify and help implement strategies to increase the number of successful completions. Also participates in fidelity observations, coaching and feedback regarding SOP groups in the facilities and community.
Assists the Central Office Programs & Risk Reeducation Team on various projects, including data review, implementing strategies related to responsivity, staff skill development, statewide summits and meetings, working ICE detainers, addressing community identification, and other projects that require ongoing attention and identification and implementation of strategies, as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Six months of experience in planning, implementing, and monitoring activities relevant to the agency's programs. Two years of experience interacting with clients, customers, or the public in a social service, customer service, or problem resolution setting. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with major coursework in criminal justice, the social sciences, or the behavioral sciences, and three years of experience working with offenders in corrections. Or 60 semester hours of college credit, with twelve hours in corrections or a related field, and five years of experience working with offenders in corrections.
Two years experience working with sex offenders.
Two years experience working with multi-discipline groups.
Two years experience in offender CBT group work.
Two years experience developing and writing policies.
Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based programming in corrections.
Demonstrated knowledge of core correctional practices.

With 2 manufacturing plants and 27 distribution facilities across 20 states, we're seeking a dedicated Chemical Control Systems Operator to join our team. Reporting to the Unit Manager, this role will be responsible for overseeing the processing of materials and the production of goods within an industrial setting. The Chemical Control Systems Operator will also be monitoring equipment, managing hazardous materials, and ensuring the smooth operation of production processes.
Primary Responsibilities & Duties:
* Operate and monitor equipment such as reactors, pumps, coolers, and vacuum systems to maintain proper conditions (pressure, temperature, flow). Respond to changes in production processes to ensure consistent output.
* Follow established procedures to produce products efficiently and safely. Calculate batch sizes and record manufacturing data.
* Load and unload materials from trucks, including tank trucks and tank cars. Transport materials to designated areas within the facility.
* Ensure the proper operation of safety systems and valves and perform required inspections.
* Complete all necessary production and transfer forms accurately.
* Other Duties may be assigned.
* Job duties may also result in:
* Generate, handle, and/or inspect hazardous waste and hazardous waste storage.
* Respond or manage hazardous waste spills and incidents based on the site's emergency action or contingency plan.
* Prepare and manage hazardous waste records such as manifests, inspection logs, waste determination and other reports
Education and/or Experience:
* High school diploma or GED equivalent.
* 1-3 years of relevant experience or training.
* Forklift Certified preferred.
* And/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
