NCIS not only has primary responsibility for all criminal investigative, CI, CT, and cyber matters within the DON, but it also has exclusive investigative jurisdiction in non-combat matters involving actual, potential, or suspected criminal, terrorism, sabotage, espionage, and subversive activities. HOW OUR FIELD COMPUTER SPECIALIST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: Provides technical advice and guidance on installation, adaptation, configuration, and/or enhancement of company technical products, programs, and systems. On-site engineering technicians who utilize analytical and critical thinking to troubleshoot issues and problems with equipment or systems. Applies theories and write reports to outline issues and solutions. Provide IT support throughout area of responsibility Utilize ServiceNow for change management, ticketing system and asset inventory Coordinate troubleshooting efforts for resolution of network outages Perform Trusted Agent functions for SIPR Token program Assist users in the region with VTC system deployment and maintenance Support various admin duties, ex. Primary Responsibilities: • Execute the requirements of this RFQ in a consistent manner that is compliant with agency-wide strategic information technology program management, resource planning, configuration management and implementation. • Modify CAD architectural/electrical plans to fit the needs of the customers' installation design plan. • Produces technical and scientific illustrations for presentations and/or publication, as appropriate to the requirements. • Reduce duplication of information technology services through coordinated requirements analysis and consolidation. • Optimize usage of information technology that is acceptable/compatible across the Government consistent with the approved business processes. • Ensure accessibility to system drawing data to support program decisions (e.g., quickly and easily retrieve data for update). • Improve and make consistent Government project planning across the full system life cycle using standardized methodologies, processes and tools. • Introduce commercial best practices selection for program management where appropriate. • Improve and make consistent methods, processes, and tools for configuration management across the system lifecycle. • Support future business requirements for IT program management, including identification of needed applications and operational services. • Provide a methodology for information technology design and implementation as a reproducible and reliable process. • Ensure efficiency in all operational functions including identification of product substitution and or incompatible techniques with the Government's Name Brand product requirements. Qualifications: • 5 years of experience utilizing both CAD and AutoCAD design software. • Must have CAD Certification. • Experience with Computer Automated Design software (such as AutoCAD or MicroStation), Microsoft Windows and the complete Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat. • Experience with technical illustrations and Viso Design. • Experience utilizing AutoCAD to add, change, remove or redline necessary items or drawings. • Experience reviewing content of technical documentation for quality. • Knowledge of current technological development / trends in area of expertise. • Highly organized and extremely detail-oriented with ability to quickly grasp business needs and issues. • Ability to prepare engineering documents, specifications and estimates for projects. • Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to manage workload and time effectively. • Ability to effectively work both independently and in a team environment. • Secret Clearance preferred. • Must be U.S. citizens. Input, maintain, evaluate and compare pertinent DMHRSi and personnel data and information on a weekly basis. Document errors and missing information, research and obtain missing data, clarify discrepancies and inconsistencies and compile reports totaling 25+ on a monthly basis. Review data processes documentation on a regular basis for accuracy and efficiency. Continuously verify the Officer Distribution Control Report (ODCR), Enlisted Distribution Verification Report (EDVR), Officer Slates, borrowed military, GME/GDE, Army, HRO civilian crosswalk, Limited Duty/ Med Hold/ Med Board, contractors, volunteers, and Reserve/ Augmentation/Mobilization personnel for NNMC and Branch Clinics. These are the different manning documents that provide input to the accuracy of DMHRSi, i.e. personnel tracking. They must be verified monthly at a minimum.
