Job Summary
Responsible for monitoring security systems, responding to emergencies, and providing assistance to patients, visitors, and staff.
Qualifications
Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems, to detect and respond to security breaches or incidents.
-Maintain situational awareness by observing video surveillance feeds and monitoring system alerts.
-Document and report any suspicious activities, security incidents, or policy violations according to established procedures.
-Respond to emergency situations, such as medical emergencies, fires, security breaches, or other incidents.
-Initiate appropriate emergency protocols and procedures, including contacting emergency services, notifying relevant personnel, and providing assistance as needed.
-Maintain communication with emergency response teams, providing updates and coordinating efforts to resolve the situation.

This is a full-time regular position offering a comprehensive benefits package. The schedule will be Sunday - Wednesday from 7a - 5p. The shifts on Sundays and Mondays will be at our Main Building in Boston, and the shifts on Tuesdays and Wednesdays will be at our facility in Quincy. Willingness to work some day and night shifts during a three-month training period is preferred.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Stands watch in designated machinery areas. Conducts roving rounds of campus facilities. Observes instruments, records readings, and maintains an activities log.
* Performs routine preventative maintenance duties including cleaning equipment, making mechanical and chemical adjustments, moving equipment and supplies, and manipulating valves and switches.
* Comfortable working at height, on ladders, and in confined areas from the basement to the roof and at times outside, exposed to the weather.
* Operates major life support equipment occasionally in tight quarters.

The Zifo Lab Computing Analyst provides both consulting, analytical and technical laboratory services, including multivendor instrument, information technology as well as in-lab validation/compliance services when applicable. The individual will provide the consulting skills required to analyze customer needs and gaps to propose solutions for the desired state. He or she will work with business users and managers of customers in conjunction with the internal Zifo support team.

CGI is seeking a seasoned Lab Computing Analyst to join our growing team supporting life science clients through end to end solution offerings and professional services.. This individual must be able to work in a cross-functional environment and interact with representatives from CGI, and our end-clients. This lab engineer will work at various CGI/ clients consulting and executing various life science business and IT initiatives from infrastructure support, lab system support, shop floor, instrument integration and system processes expertise.
This position is located in our Boston, MA client office, however a hybrid working model is acceptable.
**Your future duties and responsibilities:**
-Incident Handling with respect to laboratory computers at the Facility ("Devices") - request notification, service level thresholds and metrics reporting will utilize existing site processes and standards.
-Coordinate with relevant support teams and/or vendor to resolve issues
-In the cases where the issue requires coordination with other support teams, monitor the issue to closure
-Assist end users and vendors in the troubleshooting of software related to scientific applications.
-Project Support - Supporting activities related to IT projects in close collaboration with the local IT manage service team, as time allows.
-Commissioning - Installation of new Devices and required software.
-Communicate non-standard instrument requirements within IT - special operating system, networking, add-on hardware, storage, etc.
