IN A NUTSHELL Sciens Building Solutions seeks a CAD Operator responsible for the drafting of low voltage systems as designed by others. This position is responsible for layout and drafting of systems as represented by Sciens and is responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of all associated jobs. Ideal candidates will be AutoCAD-trained and have on-the-job experience as it relates to laying out and drafting various projects. The CAD Operator applies engineering principles to every set of drawings to meet the customers' requirements; ensures the system drawings are laid out in accordance with the project specifications and direction provided from system designers; interfaces with project managers and sales to support their various needs. We are looking for a computer programmer who can help us build out programs and identify trends in the marketplace based on our collated data points and historical theorems. We need someone who is interested in sports and can understand the stats of the game. More importantly, we having coding needs and we need templates to be built based on confidential information so an NDA has to be signed upfront. Our business model is based on developing athletes so our culture is about learning and understanding ourselves better. We need about 3 hours a day 3x a week to help us with the buildout intiially... and if all goes well, we can talk about a future permanent position after a trial period of 6 months. JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES This position operates sewer and catch basin cleaning equipment; inspects, maintains and repairs sanitary sewers CSOs, pump stations and storm water control structures; performs preventative maintenance on collection system; responds to emergency calls regarding collection system back-ups; assists Collection System Technician; collects flow data from CSOs and pump stations. Performs other related duties. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 6:45 am to 2:45 pm, is part of the AFSCME Collective Bargaining Unit, and provides an excellent work life balance. The position is grade 4, with a starting hourly rate not to exceed $30.27. Prints and cuts tickets, sorts, files, and matches tickets to the distributions, store labels, and locators. Places completed printed packages on shelf for departments to pick up.
