Job Description
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Partnering with sales, engineering, and project management staff to produce system wiring documentation for integrated audiovisual, videoconferencing and broadcast systems. Successful candidate will produce system wiring and architectural documentation including signal flow documents, system wiring details, architectural details, mounting details, floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, equipment location drawings, etc. for audiovisual, videoconferencing, and broadcast designs. These would include the following types of systems for control rooms, operations centers, boardrooms, classrooms, and training rooms.

Install and repair water distribution lines from drawings; utility locates; pavement sawcut; trench, set pipe, fittings, valves, hydrants; backfill, compact, restore; flush lines and collect samples for EPA reporting.
Perform main taps and service installs: size selection, hot taps, curb stops, meter wells/meters; shutoffs/turn-ons.
Maintain water assets: rotate valves, flush hydrants, repair/replace valves/hydrants, repair main and service breaks, install/test/repair meters; insulate meter pits.
Construct and repair sewer collection: lay new services, jet clean lines, dye tests, replace broken sections, raise/seal manholes, set traffic control.
Execute CIPP rehab: access prep, bypass pumping, cleaning and CCTV, liner measurement and wet-out, inversion or pull-in, steam/UV cure, cool-down, lateral reinstatement, post-CCTV and QA records.
Operate equipment: dump truck, backhoe, mini-excavator, sewer jet/vac, tanker, trenchers, tampers, compressors, jackhammers, cutoff saws, tile cutters, pumps, tapping tools, hand/power tools.
Service equipment: grease/oil, replace hydraulic and high-pressure hoses, inspect fluids, coordinate preventive maintenance, clean/repair hand tools.
Safety/compliance: confined space entry, atmospheric monitoring, lockout/tagout, excavation safety, traffic control, digital documentation on tablet/laptop.
Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications - Field Technician - Jet-Vac/CCTV Operator (CDL)
High school diploma or equivalent.

Essential Duties
Monitor Operations of all wastewater and water facilities, conduct testing and analysis required for proper operation and reporting for the facilities in compliance with regulatory permits.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
This is an entry level position for the Distribution System Operator job family. Optimize the practices, policies, procedures and programs to operate the Electric distribution system in a safe, reliable and efficient manner with the welfare of employees, customers, the public and shareholders in mind. Follow established operating practices and procedures as they relate to customer restoration. Perform system restoration during storms and emergency events. Perform the work of receiving, recording, routing, dispatching customer calls, information, orders, and emergency calls. Serve as the tagging authority by leading and directing the application of the safety tagging procedures. Execute limited line clearance orders by confirming and directing the placement of tags. Lead, direct and supervise associates in restoring customers and safely clearing and restoring equipment. Recognize and reinforce strong performers. Take appropriate administrative actions to address weak performers. Control and operate equipment on the primary electric distribution system. Respond to all electrical service interruptions involving distribution equipment. Respond to electrical service interruptions including power quality, safety concerns, all outage categories at the distribution level. Maintain and apply a working knowledge of the Exelon Management Model for business controls and meet management's expectation for conducting effective business. JOB SCOPE
Functional control over various operating, construction, testing, customer and contractor groups in the performance of limited electrical switching, repair, testing and related work activities involving lines, transformers, and other equipment under the jurisdiction of the Distribution Shift Manager. The different groups include overhead operating, overhead and underground maintenance and distribution testing.
The consequences of operating errors or improper system operation could cost the company millions of dollars in direct, indirect and intangible costs such as the loss of customer good will, damaged company equipment, damaged customer equipment and damage to the company's public image.
