Experience with Computer Networking, Wireless Technologies, and Mechatronics are a plus.
Essential Responsibilities
· Setting up & Testing Windows-based computers with custom software and drivers
· Diagnosing and repairing new and refurbished computers
· Maintaining and repairing other related IT equipment (e.g. UPS)
· Performing upgrades to ensure production systems are at the current revision
· Some light PCB testing
· Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
· Associate's degree in computer science or Technical School Certification is required
· Ability to demonstrate prior experience installing software and hardware
· Ability to effectively communicate with others
· Ability to work well in a team setting and independently
· Experience troubleshooting basic PC/Desktop hardware and applications
Additional Qualifications (good to have, but not required)
· CompTIA A+ Certification
· Deep knowledge of the OSI 7-layer model
