Salary Range Information

It uses a wide array of data and video clips to create statistics and analytics about players, teams and games.
TrackMan leverages industry leading 3D doppler radar technology to capture the most comprehensive and accurate ball tracking data in the game. TrackMan data is used for player evaluation and development by all major league teams in the US and most teams in Japan and Korea, as well as top Division 1 programs.
The Synergy and TrackMan Systems Operator will set up the Synergy System cameras before each home game, then maintain and store the equipment after the game. After each game the Synergy and TrackMan Systems Operator will be responsible for uploading the data to Synergy. This is best done at home overnight or early the next morning.
The ideal candidate will have experience with video equipment and SD cards, a solid understanding of file management and uploading files to a database, and the ability to lift upwards of 50 lbs.
The Synergy and TrackMan Systems Operator will be responsible for running the TrackMan system for all home games. Duties include setting up rosters and lineups, and making substitution changes throughout the game. After the game the Operator will be responsible for uploading the game to TrackMan, assisting in troubleshooting system issues with TrackMan support, fixing any errors, and supporting the TrackMan data operations team in ad-hoc data requests and evaluations. The ideal candidate will have the computer skills to operate the system and troubleshoot systemic issues, plus basic database and analytics experience as well as a firm understanding of baseball, especially pitching. This is an independent contractor position. The Danbury Westerner Independent Contractor Agreement must be fully executed by all parties. Income will be reported to the IRS and Connecticut Department of Revenue Services via Form 1099.
