THE WORK
As A Senior System Engineer and Delivery Order Lead you will:
• Engage with members of the PMO to provide schedule and milestone status and provide risk assessment/escalation. Participate in regular meetings and reporting activities with customer stakeholders
• Collaborate with the program's Chief Engineer on solution development to ensure compliance and best practices
• Contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents
• Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s) - Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), etc.
• Participate in establishing and gaining approval of the definition of a system or component under development (requirements, designs, interfaces, test procedures, etc) that provides a common reference point for hardware and software developers
• Provide technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of specific components of complex hardware/software systems to include requirements elicitation, analysis and functional allocation, conducting system requirements reviews, developing concepts of operation and interface standards, developing system architectures, and performing technical/non-technical assessment and management as well as end-to-end flow analysis
• Provide technical services assistance to government engineers in the creation, updating and management of system product line standards and databases

Plans and implements medical readiness reporting procedures for the Office of the Command Surgeon. Training will include, but is not limited to implementing/sustaining the Medical Protection System (MEDPROS) Army Immunization Campaign Plan and any other Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) programs and requirements that may be directed for implementation.
Provides guidance and assistance in all areas of MEDPROS, to include, but not limited to, the input of immunizations and IMR data, distribution of training aids, monitoring of schedule influenza, anthrax and smallpox campaigns, and all MEDPROS education and training endeavors. Possesses in-depth knowledge of MEDPROS as well as a working knowledge of other immunization tracking systems compliance (e.g. the Air Force Complete Immunization Tracking System --AFCITA).
Performs extensive analysis and studies of a wide variety of subjects which influence the readiness posture of the AMEDD assets in the AOR. Responsible for the validity and consistency of the conclusions or recommendations and estimates, projections, or forecasts developed from these studies. Interacts with all levels of the Military Health Services System, Defense Health Agency, Department of the Army, DOD, contractors and civilian representatives and other Tri-Service organizations to retrieve, analyze, interpret and present medical readiness data in support of the Surgeon's initiatives and objectives. Duties:
You will provide assistance and technical guidance to other engineers/architects, or other NAVFAC business/support lines or functional areas as appropriate to execute Design and Construction (DC) projects.
You will monitor available project budget and time constraints and initiate appropriate planning and corrective action as necessary to ensure funding thresholds and impacts to operational needs are not exceeded.
You will prepare government position for contract negotiations or modifications to existing construction contracts.
You will manage multiple priorities and independently develop and provide technical recommendations/solutions to complex problems encountered during the administration of the construction contracts.
You will provide and brief project status updates to senior personnel.

Qualifications
This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: You must currently be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) if applying for the 0801 series. You must be a Registered Architect (RA) if applying for the 0808 series. Your license or registration must be held in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. Note - If you respond "YES," you MUST provide a copy of your current registration with your application. A copy of a wall certificate that does not have an expiration date will not serve to verify this requirement.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Applying advanced architectural/engineering methods and techniques to provide advice to junior and senior stakeholders responsible for broad construction program operations;
Providing technical recommendations/solutions to complex problems encountered during the administration of construction contracts;
Using automated systems to administer and evaluate construction contracts.
Education Requirement:
Successful completion of a professional engineering degree. To be acceptable, the program must: (1) lead to a bachelor's degree (or higher) in a school of engineering with at least one program accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET); or (2) include differential and integral calculus and courses (more advanced than first-year physics and chemistry) in five of the following seven areas of engineering science or physics: (a) statics, dynamics; (b) strength of materials (stress-strain relationships); (c) fluid mechanics, hydraulics; (d) thermodynamics; (e) electrical fields and circuits; (f) nature and properties of materials (relating particle and aggregate structure to properties); and (g) any other comparable area of fundamental engineering science or physics, such as optics, heat transfer, soil mechanics, or electronics. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Engineering/Architecture; or
Professional registration or licensure: Current registration as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE); Or Written Test:Evidence of having successfully passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination or any other written test required for professional registration by an engineering licensure board; or

Expert Systems Engineers in support of the NGA CIO-T Sensor Integration Office will assist in leading engineering teams in taking a multi-discipline approach to requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability and analysis across the National System of Geospatial-intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-intelligence (ASG) and Federal Agencies to ensure timely and accurate GEOINT.
Responsibilities
Assists the Government in directing requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability and analysis across the National System of Geospatial-intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-intelligence (ASG) and Federal Agencies.
Assists with the planning, analysis/traceability of user requirements, architectures traceability, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review cloud service capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
Advises the Government on proposed changes to the solutions designs based on analysis of requirements and new technology.

Qualifications
Required
