    Job Description CTG is seeking to fill a Cleared DevOps Engineer opening for our client in Arlington, VA. Duration: Permanent Placement Support the development and deployment of infrastructure in AWS. Automate deployment processes and ensure the reliability and scalability of services. Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS. Collaborate with development teams to integrate their applications into the infrastructure. Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, resolving issues as necessary. Continuously improve processes and tools to ensure high availability and performance. Stay current with new technologies and industry trends, exploring innovative solutions to enhance our infrastructure. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills: Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration and troubleshooting. Proficiency in configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet). Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda). Proficient in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Go). Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience: 5+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering or Software Development (Java preferred). Experience with application and OS deployment, scaling, and management. Knowledge of AGILE software development methodologies. Relevant experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, MongoDB, etc.) is a plus. Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field; or Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma or equivalent with 9 years of relevant experience. Additional Requirements: A current TS/SCI + CI Poly U.S. Government Security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is mandatory. Must have DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certification (e.g., Security+ certification). Must hold a Computing Environment certification (AWS, Linux, Kubernetes, etc.). Must be able to work on-site at Ft. Belvoir, VA, 5 days a week. Preferred Requirements: Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Learn more about us at ************* . **The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures for multiple clients in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. This role involves advanced troubleshooting, performance optimization, and ensuring high availability of network services. The engineer will serve as an escalation point for the NOC team and collaborate with clients to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable network solutions.** **Key Responsibilities** + **Network Design & Implementation** + Architect and deploy LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and wireless solutions for client environments. + Configure and optimize routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. + **Monitoring & Maintenance** + Oversee network monitoring tools (e.g., Datto, LogicMonitor, PRTG) to ensure uptime and performance. + Perform proactive maintenance and capacity planning. + **Troubleshooting & Escalation** + Act as Tier 3 escalation for complex network issues. + Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes. + **Change Management & ITIL Compliance** + Follow ITIL-aligned processes for Incident, Problem, and Change Management. + Prepare and submit detailed change requests, including risk assessments, rollback plans, and impact analysis. + Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and ensure all changes are documented and approved before implementation. + **Security & Compliance** + Implement network security best practices, including firewall policies, IDS/IPS, and VLAN segmentation. + Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA). + **Documentation & Reporting** + Maintain accurate network diagrams, configurations, SOPs, and change logs. + Provide regular performance and incident reports to management and clients. + **Client Interaction** + Collaborate with clients on network strategy, upgrades, and migrations. + Participate in technical meetings and provide consultative guidance. **Required Qualifications** + **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). + **Experience:** + 5+ years in network engineering roles, preferably in MSP or NOC environments. + Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar platforms. + **Certifications:** + CCNP or equivalent required; CCIE, JNCIP, or similar preferred. + ITIL Foundation certification strongly preferred. + **Technical Skills:** + Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, QoS. + Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools. + Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and SD-WAN technologies. + **Soft Skills:** + Excellent communication and client-facing skills. + Ability to mentor junior engineers and work in a fast-paced environment. **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience with scripting/automation (Python, Ansible). + Exposure to virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and storage networking. **Work Environment** + 24/7 NOC operations; may require on-call rotation. + Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. \#LI-DH1 \#LI-REMOTE Xerox is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, creed, religion, ancestry, national origin, age, gender identity, sex, marital status, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, use of a guide dog or service animal, military/veteran status, citizenship status, basis of genetic information, or any other group protected by law.
