    Job Description We are seeking an experienced Epic Analyst with certifications in Clin Doc and Orders, and a strong understanding of nursing workflows to support a virtual nursing initiative. Duties: Partner with clinical and technical teams to design and implement Epic workflows that support virtual nursing initiatives. Leverage Clin Doc and Orders tools to develop and optimize documentation and ordering workflows specific to remote nursing care. Build, test, and deploy Epic solutions that align with nursing best practices and project goals. Analyze clinical requirements and translate them into effective Epic system configurations. Support go-live activities, user training, and post-implementation troubleshooting for virtual nursing workflows. Maintain clear documentation of build decisions, workflows, and user guides throughout the project lifecycle. Skills: Epic Certifications in Clin Doc and Orders (current and in good standing). Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group. Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience: Minimum 5 years of Epic build/support experience in clinical documentation and ordering workflows. As a Beaker Micro Analyst, you will work closely with lab staff, informatics teams, and Epic support resources to build, maintain, and troubleshoot functionality related to microbiology orders, results, culture workflows, and antimicrobial susceptibility testing. Duties: System Configuration & Optimization Configure, test, and maintain Epic Beaker Microbiology workflows, including culture setup, organism identification, susceptibility panels, reflex rules, and reporting formats. Customize test definitions, media, workcards, macros, and workflows to align with laboratory practices. Collaborate with the lab team to optimize user experience, automation, and result turnaround times. Implementation & Support Participate in implementation, upgrades, and go-live support of Beaker Micro and related systems. Analyze current workflows and propose solutions to improve efficiency and compliance using Beaker capabilities. Serve as the primary liaison between lab departments and IT for microbiology-related system needs. Testing & Validation Develop and execute test scripts for build validation, instrument interface functionality, and regulatory compliance. Perform unit, integrated, and regression testing during build changes or upgrades. Document system configuration, change management logs, and test results according to institutional and regulatory standards. Collaboration & Communication Partner with clinical microbiologists, medical technologists, LIS staff, and Epic analysts to ensure system build aligns with clinical goals. Collaborate with interface teams to maintain and troubleshoot instrument integrations. Provide ongoing user training, support, and documentation for lab staff. Skills: Strong knowledge of Epic Beaker Microbiology configuration and workflows. Proficiency with HL7 messaging, interface troubleshooting, and test compendium management. Ability to analyze and document complex laboratory workflows. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience working with Epic Beaker, with a focus on Beaker Microbiology. Experience in system configuration, test build, and workflow design. Hands-on background in microbiology lab operations, including culture workflows, AST, and QC processes. Education: Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Information Systems, Life Sciences, or related field. Epic Beaker certification required (Preferred: Beaker Clinical Pathology + Microbiology specialization).
