The Claim Technical Assistant position is an integral role within the Claims Department that will provide claim support to the WC Claim staff in all key phases of the adjustment process, consistent with Best Practices. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Duties/Scope
Confirm and monitor initial claim information. Organize, summarize and update materials as needed (e.g., legal pleadings, deposition transcripts, financial documents, Etc). Through the life cycle of a case, assist examiner with claim strategy and in the collection and follow-up of all necessary information and documentation. Compose various letters and other documents. Handle complex regulatory compliance issues Track and maintain diary for notification & assignment, coverage, scheduled mediations, arbitrations, and trials, etc.
Qualifications:
College degree preferred but not required We will train the right candidate but 2+ years of similar experience is a plus.Candidate must demonstrate proficient skills in the following areas: customer service, written and oral communication, team orientation, analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstration of initiative and follow-through with work assignments.Paralegal and other similar backgrounds are also a plus. Demonstrated ability to independently manage specific claim functions and concisely summarize and provide recommendations as required. Exceptional organizational and prioritization

Under the direction of a Radiologist, or Physician designee, and Imaging Leadership, and with latitude for independent judgment, performs all the professional duties involved in applying ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis at the technical level.
