This is a
Computer Field Technician Position
doing hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. To be successful in this position,
you must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware.
Job Details:
This is a 1099/per call position
Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.

Keep detailed production records based on your assigned chemistry by following established best practices for documentation.
Maintain an organized workspace to avoid trip hazards, create a potential for spill or release of materials, or mistake material selections.
Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment to prepare for an assigned chemistry or breakdown and re-stock unneeded equipment and supplies.
Follow specific and detailed standard operating procedures to comply with our high standards for safety and quality.
Perform in-process testing (IPT) using specialized instrumentation to monitor and inform the progress of various chemistry steps.
Monitor and analyze equipment using a computerized control system and process activity to accurately document process conditions to ensure we meet the industry's highest standards.
Work as a part of a responsible, self-directed team with a dedicated supervisory leader.
Due to 24/7 production, communication of production progress on your assigned area and/or chemistry to the oncoming shift and shift handover is paramount.
Safely 'don' and 'doff' all required Personal Protective Equipment.
Pay Structure:
Starting pay is $25.00 per hour.
After 90 days on the team and completion of the 90-day training list, team members will be eligible for a $1.00 increase, $26.00 per hour. Opportunity to earn a minimum of $60,650 in your first year with the team!
After 12 months on the team and completion of the 12-month training list, team members will be eligible for a $2.00 increase, $28.00 per hour. Opportunity to earn a minimum of $66,250 in your second year with the team!
After a year of service and a fully signed-off training list, team members become eligible to be nominated for lead roles. Successful completion of a lead role will carry an additional $2.00 per hour increase to $30.00/hr.

ABOUT THE POSITION: This position is responsible for the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities, with the expectation of excellent customer service and quality standards being met at every turn. Must have exceptional attention to detail, the ability to track multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time to achieve and maintain inventory accuracy, and the ability to coordinate orders, track shipping times, and fulfill all product orders successfully. This position will also frequently be responsible for the installation of products onto customers vehicle, with the explicit expectation that all installations be completed with the utmost care and professionalism.
Some of the essential functions and responsibilities of this position are to be able to receive, input, sort, load, and unload products, organize stock, maintain inventory, process, pack, and ship orders with a high attention to detail, inspect products for defects and report damages as needed, maintain a safe and healthy work environment, following all standards and procedures and complying with all legal regulations. When installing products onto customer vehicles it is imperative to maintain a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm, effectively handle tense situations, and promptly resolve customer complaints to ensure maximum client satisfaction. This position must be able to create rapport with customers, explain the use and functionality of products, and thoroughly answer customer questions, always striving to create an excellent customer experience and lasting positive impression.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Installations
Thoroughly inspect customer vehicle, preferably with the customer
Document any existing damage on the Vehicle Inspection Sheet
Install, or assist customer with self-installing requested products
Employ utmost care and professionalism throughout installation process
Keep installation area tidy and free of debris at all times
Gather all pertinent information prior to scheduling installation

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years of warehouse experience
Basic experience with use of hand tools
Mechanical inclination and problem solving skills

The Peer Support Specialist will be knowledgeable of available service options, will promote the utilization of natural support systems, will facilitate the development of a sense of wellness and self-worth, and will work with a treatment team to promote the goals of the person in services in accordance with BestCare's policies and best practices, as well as the State and Federal regulations for the prevention and treatment of substance use disorders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Works closely with other staff as a member of a treatment team to provide healthy staff-to-staff and staff-to-client relationships;
Provides respectful and compassionate treatment is provided to all clients who request services and acts as a role model to clients to inspire hope and share life experiences as appropriate to the recovery process;
Telephones contacts, which includes talking with clients who need support and to remind clients who are scheduled for assessments, groups, individual sessions, medication management appointments, and other BestCare services;
Identifies recovering person's abilities, strengths and assets and assist them to recognize and use them;
Identifies barriers to full participation and focuses on strategies and resources to overcome them;
Provides recovery mentor services at the hospital and manages a case load as assigned;
Participates in group recovery sessions as needed;
Provides services within the framework of the Intentional Peer Support model;
Transports clients to some appointments, when appropriate, if approved by supervisor, including to/from outpatient services at BestCare, to other agencies when they need assistance with accessing benefits, and other
Provides referral to various services, when appropriate (i.e. Food Bank, LINC, primary care/medical services, community college, parenting, etc.);
Ensures that client documentation in client EHR files is completed timely, complete, reflects clinical best practices, and meets State and BestCare standards;
Maintains strong relationships with community partners, developing collaborative relationships whenever possible;
Other related duties as assigned by the Program Manager.

CPR, First Aid and AED certification required or ability to obtain within 3 months

The Data Center Facilities Technician provides a working level of data center knowledge and is responsible for the operational integrity and regulatory compliance of the data center electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire life safety systems. The Peer Support Specialist provides a welcoming and safe environment at The Lighthouse Navigation Center, encouraging guests to engage in day-use activities and access navigation services. This role involves building meaningful connections with participants, assisting them in their pursuit of health, stability, and recovery, and collaborating with the team to address chronic homelessness in our region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Create a welcoming and safe environment where guests are encouraged to benefit from day-use activities and navigation services.
Support the Associate Director and Program Manager in developing and facilitating daily experiential learning activities.
Engage with participants to understand their stories, build trust, and establish meaningful connections.
Guide participants in achieving health, stability, and recovery by helping them connect with case managers, service providers, treatment teams, and community partners.
Advocate for and provide referrals to ensure participants access a variety of services, including mental and physical health services.
Escort participants to provider appointments as needed.
Introduce participants to supportive services and activities.
Guide and assist volunteers in establishing and navigating their relationships with the Navigation Center, participants, and staff.
Collaborate with the team, service providers, and volunteers to identify innovative ways to address chronic homelessness.
Respond to callouts and participant emergencies as required.
Discuss and process case plans, coping methods, life choices, and rehabilitation strategies with participants.
Contribute to the safe, secure, and sanitary operation of the Navigation Center, cooperating with the facilities manager and supervising appropriate SHM staff as needed.
Fulfill other relevant duties as communicated by the Director of Navigation Center, Associate Director of Navigation Center, and other SHM supervisors.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in social services, peer support, or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience in a peer support or social services role preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs.
Experience with or knowledge of homelessness, addiction recovery, mental health, and trauma-informed care.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and email communication.
