This is an entry level position where you will be trained to support Canon's photolithography equipment (steppers and scanners).
This position requires full-time presence at your assigned office(s)/worksite(s).
Your Impact
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment to ensure equipment performance and uptime meet customer specifications.
• Install and calibrate semiconductor process equipment to factory specifications.
• Escalate advanced repairs as needed, to senior level technicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activity and provide periodic reports to site and regional management.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and machine installations to expand technical expertise.

HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required. AA OR BS degree in a related field is preferred, plus less than one year of related experience. (i.e. Technician position in a semiconductor equipment company or a technical position in the engineering field)

Position may require travel to other offices/customer sites within the US. Some overseas travel as needed

The work environment may include working in highly time sensitive situations requiring quick resolution including equipment problems.

The Tier 2 Help Desk Technician handles advanced IT support requests and escalations from Tier 1 staff. Key Responsibilities:
Handle all in-bound customer support interactions (phone calls, email, web requests)
Appropriately escalate technical support issues within the technical support team, and provide any data or support in order to facilitate a quick resolution to the customer's issues
Maintain ongoing follow-up outreach and communication loop with customers to keep them informed of expected steps, timelines, status updates and problem resolutions

Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a forklift to move, load, and stage heavy materials and scrap.

This position will be located in Sterling, VA and El Paso, TX and will be a fully remote position. **Responsibilities** Establishes and maintains smooth operation of computer systems (to include operating systems, software and hardware) in networked or stand-alone configurations, maintains system integrity, and upgrades systems and/or servers as required. May create and document new methods supporting network/system operations and implement changes to procedures. Consults with support teams, help desks, customers and other technical staff in the resolution of problems, coordinates and performs operation and/or maintenance activities for networks/servers, identifies recurring problems and recommends steps to reduce the severity or frequency of problems. May plan for the transition of development and/or production environments to new technologies, utilize system software to monitor the performance of system files, manage system data to maintain performance efficiencies and/or study system requirements to determine proper server installation methods and procedures.
+ Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
+ Plan, coordinate, and implement network/system security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware.
+ Provides regular monitoring and analysis regarding short and long-range planning for in-house systems.
+ Prepares or ensures that appropriate documentation exists, including operational instructions.
+ Writes or modifies basic scripts to resolve performance problems and automate administration tasks.
+ Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.

**Posted Pay Range**
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. RESPONSIBLE TO: Information Technology Manager
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
Purpose of Position: Assist IT Manager with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of company IT systems. Requires travel and may require transporting small/medium sized equipment. Rapid-response deployments may require extended hours/off shifts.
Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Company Mobile Device Management (iOS, Android, Windows):
Provide, maintain and support company owned devices including: cell phones, mobile hotspots, tablets, laptops, touch computers etc.
Log all devices and current possession.
Furnish replacements as required.
Process purchases, upgrades, insurance/warranty/repair claims and orders.
Verify device firmware and software updates for required applications.
Support requires traveling to job locations and troubleshooting in the field.
Must pass a pre-employment drivers license record check and be cleared to drive our vehicles.
Server Administration:
Provision and maintain Active Directory and Group Policy.
Maintain router/switch labelling and diagrams.
Monitor backup activities and escalate issues.
Assist System Administrator troubleshooting, implementing and maintaining new/updated services.
PC Administration:
Maintain desktop and laptop units.
Patch management: Windows, Java, Flash, browsers, proprietary applications.

Networking and Security:

Site Turn-up/Turn-down:

Disaster Recovery and Mitigation:
Perform and assist team by management directive to execute the IT Disaster Recovery Plan and meet deadlines on schedule.

Basic knowledge of electrical systems/wiring beneficial.
Supplies:

General Support:
Assist staff with teleconferencing and virtual meetings.
