    The Senior Service Technician is responsible for repairing and reconditioning equipment in the Market Centerand/or customer locations. Responsible for installation of equipment at customer accounts and is responsible for diagnostics of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems and takes corrective action. Provides customer assistance in resolving customer questions, problems, or complaints regardingequipment. This is a senior role; therefore, this person will be able to assist others with troubleshooting. Job Responsibilities ? Calls on customers as assigned by Service Manager or General Manager to investigate operating difficulties of equipment. ? Diagnoses problems and determines reasons and the nature of correction. ? Makes repairs or adjustments to equipment to return the equipment in working order. ? Cleans and maintains equipment on location including exchanging decanters and cleaning brewers. ? Documentation including verification of the closing calls, invoice completion, asset verification and any required customer documentation. ? Repairs and refurbishes equipment in the Market Center; maintain spare parts levels. ? Ability to accurately capture work completed in company provided mobile device. ? Maintains a good working relationship and liaison with customers to maintain a positive image of the company and product. ? Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities including emergency service calls, preventative maintenance, surveys, and installations. ? Maintains service area and vehicle in a clean and organized condition. ? Follows company guidelines on safety and operates vehicle(s) in a safe manner. ? Completes weekly Driver Report and follows guidelines in the Fleet Manual. ? Follows all safety standards and policies set by manufacturers and company. Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered. Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you. You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day. You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day. You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day. The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you. You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial) You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided. You will work independently under limited supervision to perform complex breakdown analysis, preventative maintenance (PM), equipment upgrades, machinist and technical skills in a fast-paced industrial environment. You will be based at our LaGrange, Georgie print plant and will report to the Associate Director, Production. You Will: Troubleshooting and Repair : Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair failures in advanced production, manufacturing, and automation equipment. This includes mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Preventative Maintenance (PM): Inspect equipment for proper functioning and perform routine, predictive, and preventative maintenance duties per manufacturer's specifications and computerized PM schedules/data.System Diagnostics: Utilize electrical test equipment (e.g., Digital volt meter, oscilloscopes) to troubleshoot electrical circuitry down to the component level, including control circuits, AC/DC drives (VFDs), and basic electrical systems (starters, fuses, contacts, relays). Controls Systems: Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) controls systems. Experience with setup, programming, and troubleshooting of PLCs is highly valued. What you would do: * Diagnose and resolve issues associated with Firm software applications and operating systems * Diagnose and resolve firm owned hardware device issues (terminals, desktops, laptops, conference room technology, phone handsets) * Create knowledgebase KB articles, as required to equip Helpdesk to resolve issues in the future without requiring escalation * Work with other IT teams to track recurring technology issues to resolution * Effectively utilize vendor support as needed * Identify and recommend production customizations and enhancements * Assist with implementation of new technology deployments or upgrades * Special projects as assigned by either the IT Support Manager or Chief Information Officer * Participate in after-hours on-call rotation for Helpdesk emergency tickets * Configuring integrated conference room technology, including equipment installation and troubleshooting What you bring: * Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support * Strong problem solving and analytical skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail * Ability to work under short deadlines and demanding environments * Excellent customer service skills are a must.
