What Does A Computing Machine Operator Do At Ideal Industries, Inc.

* This position is responsible for the set-up and operation of the CNC machines.
* Follow all safety procedures.
* Set-up, changeover, and operate primary and secondary manufacturing machines within a work cell.
* Conduct daily and operator preventative maintenance on work equipment.
* May complete subassembly and assembly work within manufacturing work cells when required for production demands.
* Monitor and control quality of production pieces through adjustment of machines or tooling
* Where necessary, monitor work visually and dimensionally referring to blueprints, engineering specifications, engineering input and job instruction sheets.
* Maintain quality and rate charts as required.
* Follow all quality procedures and instructions.
* Maintains housekeeping in the work area.
* Responsible for maintaining tooling inventories and ordering tooling replacements when required.
* Other related duties as directed by management
