DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS
Strong knowledge of inspection/NDE techniques, physics informed neural networks (PINN)/scientific machine learning, signal/image processing, and computer vision.
Proficiency in computer programming languages, such as Python and C++.
Experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and Tensorflow.
Excellent team work and communication skills, with ability to conduct independent research.
Demonstrate knowhow and experience in (1) thermographic and/or acoustic NDE/inspection, (2) signal/image processing, and (3) PINNs through research projects at the university or in the industry with record of publications in peer-reviewed journal or conference proceedings.
Experience using NVDIA's modulus.
Two or more years of computer programing experience in Python.
Strong influencing skills with project teams and leadership.
The pay range for this position is $1,000-$2,000 USD weekly. The specific weekly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. **Job Description**
Essential Responsibilities:
An Aerospace Systems & Defense intern/co-op may experience work in the development of engine controls, navigation, & guidance systems; gas turbine engine components; electrical power systems; mechanical systems; vehicle health & data management systems; mission systems; computing systems; and platform systems integration. Responsibilities may include design, analysis, development, and testing, writing software requirements, software testing, simulation, tool development and product/program support.
Qualifications/Requirements:
