    As Walmart Advisor, reporting to a Vice President, you will enhance and grow our Advisor relationship with Walmart by being an unbiased expert and go-to resource for all category, consumer trends and merchandising solutions. You will guide shopper specific granular analytics from multiple data sources across markets, shoppers, and consumers to make business building recommendations for category growth. You will combine data and business savvy to provide consultative category management to the buyer through expert reporting, presentations, and customer-facing engagements. Your Impact: * Deliver weekly category performance reporting and communication to the buyer. * Conduct monthly business reviews translating data from multiple sources into narrowly defined, immediate business opportunities with action plans. * Gather and interpret competitive market intelligence (from Wal-Mart's perspective). * Participate in strategic dialogue with teams including Category Management, Marketing and Operations. * Collaborate with our Business Development, Consumer Insights, and Category Managers to share best practices and build our insights data base. (Exclusive of confidential information). * Use Spectra, IRI, Prospace, Retail Link, Scintilla and other consumer-centric data tools to build custom analyses and develop store of the community opportunities on an everyday and seasonal basis. * Manage all aspects of modular development projects by driving and supporting the core line review process, new item recommendation and distribution, traiting, spacing, on-shelf merchandising, POG creation, DC Item Matrices and Category Buyer communication. * Provide post promotional analysis for important events to include selling highlights, opportunities, price point effectiveness and recommendations for improvement going forward. * Challenge other's perspectives when they are counter-sync with the Category Buyer's goals or known facts of the business. * Develop ad hoc reports to help support the business. Your Experience: * Bachelor's degree required. * Experience as a Category Advisor for Walmart within CPG industry, including 1-3 years minimum experience with the Walmart Modular Process - end-to-end technical abilities across all facets of the modular process from preparing preliminary category strategies to drawing modulars (uploading data, customizing at store cluster level, presenting recommendations to merchants). * Experience with Excel (can perform complex functions), PowerPoint and JDA Pro Space. * Experience with Syndicated data and customer POS sources (i.e. Retail Link, Spectra and Circana data). * Experience linking seemingly disparate pieces of information * Experience presenting ideas and concepts to groups of varying levels within and outside of the organization. * Experience contributing and influencing in a cross-functional matrix environment.
