Shift: 10:00 PM-6:30 AMHourly Rate: $35.03 an hour + $1.00 shift differential Overhaul, repair, and test high speed production equipment which includes ovens, packaging machines, mixers, cartoners, baggers, stuffers, smoke houses, throughout the facility.
High School Graduate or GED with prior maintenance experience in a production environment with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding ability. This position reports to the Plant Maintenance Manager. Must understand:
Drive train- Belts, pulleys, sprockets, and chain drives.
Basic electrical- 110 single phase and 480 & 230 v 3 phase.
PLC operation
Motor control
Fabrication- welding, grinding. and assembly,
Hydraulic- motors, pumps, and valves.
Pneumatics- air valves and controls.
Follow all safety, GMP's, and USDA guidelines
Can work overtime and weekends.
Complete required paperwork daily per Quality guidelines
Understand, use and update shop prints, specifications and refer to the manufacturer manual for servicing and installation of equipment and distribution systems.
Determine workforce and material requirements, means and methods to be used in accomplishing work assignments and recommend changes.
Prepare, paint surfaces and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
Use tools and test equipment of the trade.
Maintain spare parts inventory and orders parts.
Coordinate with Maintenance management when locking and tagging systems.
Perform related responsibilities as assigned.
Observe safety requirements.
Observe and assist outside contractors for compliance with ConAgra standards.
Train new hires/transfers regarding proper maintenance and safety practices.
Follow all GMP's and USDA guidelines.
Complete required paperwork daily per Quality guidelines

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Include, but are not limited to the following)
Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and team.
Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed.
Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment.
Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.
Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.
Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Must be able and willing to furnish your own tools.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience: Minimum 2 years of mechanic work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of and industrial maintenance training program. (Can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 2 years).
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary for logging information, processing daily work orders, and completing required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Communication Skills: Effective communication and basic math skills required.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally; ability to lift 20 lbs. frequently.
Ability to stand on a hard surface for up to 12 hours per day.

Your responsibilities will include
Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:
* Work using safe procedures and practices: report any unsafe or hazardous conditions to supervision.
* Uses all designated safety equipment, observes all safety rules, and follow recognized rules of safe practice. Implement 5S.
* Read and interpret electrical control circuits from wiring diagrams, wire lists and connection tables.
* General work including conduit runs, terminal box locations, conduit supports, wire lengths and wire sizes.
* Make up proper length electrical wiring cables, bundles, labels and assemblies of connectors.
* Wire simple and complex machines.
* Diagnosis of electrical systems (distribution, processes and machines), in 480 volt systems, both single and polyphase, Accontrol systems, communications and sound systems, DC systems and high voltage distribution and switch gear.
* Find errors and/or omissions on wiring diagrams and reports them to supervision or engineering.
* Electronic power controls including logic, digital, solid state and integrated circuitry programmable controllers and keep updated on the latest generation of solid state equipment
* Complete installation, servicing, and repair of electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

Shift: 1:45 PM-10:15 PM Hourly Rate: $35.03 an hour + $1.50 shift differential Overhaul, repair, and test high speed production equipment which includes ovens, packaging machines, mixers, cartoners, baggers, stuffers, smoke houses, throughout the facility.
High School Graduate or GED with prior maintenance experience in a production environment with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding ability. This position reports to the Plant Maintenance Manager. Must understand:
* Drive train- Belts, pulleys, sprockets, and chain drives.
* Basic electrical- 110 single phase and 480 & 230 v 3 phase.
* PLC operation
* Motor control
* Fabrication- welding, grinding. and assembly,
* Hydraulic- motors, pumps, and valves.
* Pneumatics- air valves and controls.
* Follow all safety, GMP's, and USDA guidelines
* Can work overtime and weekends.
* Complete required paperwork daily per Quality guidelines
* Understand, use and update shop prints, specifications and refer to the manufacturer manual for servicing and installation of equipment and distribution systems.
* Determine workforce and material requirements, means and methods to be used in accomplishing work assignments and recommend changes.
* Prepare, paint surfaces and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
* Use tools and test equipment of the trade.
* Maintain spare parts inventory and orders parts.
* Coordinate with Maintenance management when locking and tagging systems.
* Perform related responsibilities as assigned.
* Observe safety requirements.
* Observe and assist outside contractors for compliance with ConAgra standards.
* Train new hires/transfers regarding proper maintenance and safety practices.
* Follow all GMP's and USDA guidelines.
* Complete required paperwork daily per Quality guidelines
