Reporting to the Production Manager, you will lead team members to identify, manage, and execute the plant's process improvement opportunities. You will manage production staff to attain production and quality goals. Identify problems or bottlenecks in production processes and resolve issues. You will ensure production resources including materials, equipment and human resources are available as needed to maintain production schedules. Support continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, cost and customer service. Manage various functions of the business and creating an engaged and team-oriented work force in order to improve business results.
Position Responsibilities

* Assist with the supervision of sanitation operations as necessary to promote and maintain a clean and food safe environment.
* Enforce plant rules, regulations and procedures.

* Participate in the support of plant and company safety programs, promoting and maintaining a high level of awareness and adherence to defined employee safety requirements such as lock-out/tag-out, personal protective equipment, confined space entry, etc.
Position Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelors' degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Food Science, Agricultural Sciences, or other Natural Science degrees preferred.
* Three years or more supervisory experience.
* Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
* SAP experience preferred.
* Understanding of manufacturing processes and loss
* Knowledge of GMP's
* Working knowledge of plant equipment and safety
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills.
* Ability to work weekends and/or shift work with a strong work ethic and employment history.
* A self-motivated individual that is able to multi-task and lead others.

Job Details: This position is responsible for all refrigeration equipment repair or replacement. The Refrigeration Maintenance crew has had all the necessary training to work on refrigeration equipment and handles any work orders for the ammonia compressors, freezers, cooling units, etc. Any refrigeration equipment that breaks down during processing is repaired or replaced.

Job Details:
This position will perform diagnostic, preventive and repair maintenance on company heavy and light fleet vehicles and other duties as assigned.
This position is responsible to diagnose issues, adjust, repair, and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment while complying with Department of Transportation rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Must possess advanced wiring skills for lights and harnesses on vehicles.
Must possess welding skills. Must be able to take road service calls as needed.
Must be able to service vehicles. (PM1, PM2) Must be able to perform PM6 - DOT inspections. (after 1 year)
Must be able to perform loader repairs. Must be able to perform minor motor, transmission, and rear end repairs.
Must be able to perform major trailer repairs. Must be able to work in cold, hot and/or wet conditions.
Must have a valid Arkansas driver's license with no more than two moving violations in the last two years to exclude D.U.I. (Driving Under the influence) conviction on his/her Motor Vehicle Record.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a company license.
Must maintain 5 points and under attendance policy.

Working Schedule: 2nd shift Monday through Thursday 3p to 11p, Friday from 11a to 7 p unless killing then time will be announced to reflect kill time.

This posting is for a Maintenance Intern position on the Clarksville Complex. This Internship will last for one year. This is a paid position which pays $19.35 per hour. It will be scheduled for 28 hours a week.
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Tasks:
General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. Must be willing to set up, adjust and break down production line machinery.
You will learn through first-hand experience about industrial maintenance in a fast-paced, high demand environment. Interns will receive instruction but will also work on the equipment.
Must be willing to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system. Must have good verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate with other Team Members, producers, USDA personnel and drivers. Must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc.
Must be willing to lift 70 lbs. periodically throughout the shift on a daily basis and be willing to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours. Must be willing to complete all required training for the job.
