Your primary purpose is to support the Brand Video Team on all projects, ranging from concept creation and ideation all the way through to delivering production-ready design solutions.
This position includes creating images/animations for concept presentations to executives and potential customers. Excellent communication skills are needed to interact with a fast-paced and multi-talented team. The ideal candidate is highly productive and has a team-centered spirit and a positive attitude.
This position is full-time in-office. Candidates must reside within Dallas TX or have a reasonable driving commute to Justin, TX and/or be willing to relocate.
Responsibilities (80s of the Position)
Use Maya and Redshift Render for stills, animation, lighting, and shading
Data preparation of CAD assets to be used in still and video production
Required Experience
5+ years of production experience in Visual Effects or Motion Graphics industry, in-house or at agency
Software experience
Maya / Cinema 4D
Redshift Render Engine / VRed
Adobe After Effects
Adobe Photoshop
Preferredâ¯Experienceâ¯
Additional experience with writing CG/VFX pipeline tools and Python scripting is a plus
Experience with creating photoreal CG environments is a bonus
Experience with Unreal Engine (AR, VR, XR) is a bonus

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Bring clarity and delight to gameplay by implementing menus, HUD and presentation scenarios.

Collaborate to establish workflows, best practices and style guides for the UI art discipline.
Build and maintain UI component libraries and documentation to be shared with partnering studios.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A portfolio that displays a strong understanding of UI art, typography and graphic/motion design.
Solid understanding and experience working in Unreal Engine: UMG, Blueprints and Materials.
An advanced proficiency in UI/UX workflows & DCC programs (such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, etc.)
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Shipped at least 1 game as a UI Artist.
At least 5 years of experience as a UI Artist.
