Regional Operations Lead, Device SupportSpecialist

At Novocure, every role contributes to extending the lives of people living with cancer. As our new Regional Operations Lead (Southeast), Device SupportSpecialist (DSS) you'll play a key part in this mission.
This role will work under the direction of the Regional Manager, DSS to resolve short term operational challenges related to patient starts and ongoing support, while playing a key role implementing new or improved patient experience processes, driving new product launches, hybrid clinical trials, and overall process optimization. This role will also have responsibility for administrative management of the region.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Responsible for operational activities including device logistics for patient start setup within the region.
Manage, review, and approve monthly expenses for the DSS team.
Ensure proper support and backup during patient starts for individual DSS.
Work with Regional Manager, the US support functions, and Patient Experience leadership to implement national process and initiatives at the regional level, including, new indication launches, clinical trials, and general process changes.
ABOUT YOU
Minimum Requirement:
Bachelor's degree with 2 Years experience as Device SupportSpecialist or similar.
Associates degree with 5 Years experience as Device SupportSpecialist or similar.
Primary residence must be within assigned region
Ability to dedicate approximately 50% of time to travel each week, including overnight stays, for territory management
Strong emotional intelligence and situational awareness.
These additional qualifications are preferred
Medical device or other patient support experience is a plus
Must be very personable with good communication and organizational skills
Positive, energetic and service-oriented disposition
WHAT WE OFFER
This pay range which Novocure expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting is $65,600 - $80,000/yr. This position may also be eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant in addition to a full range of benefits. Individual compensation within this range depends on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, prior education and experience, job-related knowledge and skills demonstrated.

The Device SupportSpecialist (DSS) plays an essential role in supporting commercial oncology patients using Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields). The DSS focuses on educating patients and their caregivers on TTFields according to product labeling and integrating TTFields into daily routines in order to reach usage goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Educate patients on TTFields therapy and initiating treatment

Perform technical analysis and equipment maintenance with troubleshooting and equipment replacement as needed
Collect and analyze patient data during monthly follow-up visits and provide individualized coaching with appropriate resources as needed
To ensure accessibility and flexibility for patients, some duties may be conducted through virtual visits
Demonstrate empathy and understanding when interacting with patients and their caregivers
Follow established timelines and guidelines for patient interactions; ensuring consistency and quality of care
Provide timely support to patients, including phone, virtual, and in-person assistance, sometimes on short notice or outside normal business hours (including weekends and holidays)
Manage responsibilities and workload independently within your designated regional territory
Maintain open communication with Territory Managers and other cross-functional partners to ensure effective patient care and healthcare provider support

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:
Minimum Requirement:

Experience working with oncology patients, or in a clinical or patient-facing role (e.g. medical assistant, nurse, occupational therapist, etc.) is highly preferred

Provide administrative support to ES team prior to, during, and post deployment which includes updating charts in the EMH, gathering insurance information, coordinating deployments with the Access Point, law enforcement, and the deployment team.
Completes other administrative tasks such as scheduling urgent care appointments, hospital discharges, tracking client admits and discharges, collaborating with local Emergency Departments about possible admits or discharges, etc.
Respond to the ES Support Line and collaborating with Agency On-Call systems as well as community partners such as hospitals and police.
Complete tasks maintain operational readiness such as routine safety sweeps of the building, routine upkeep of agency vehicle, light cleaning and maintenance of apartments and work spaces, etc.
Assist in apartment admissions and discharges as needed
Monitor and support clients in the apartments for brief periods of time to allow for deployment and relief of ES staff.
Supports office based or community-based deployments or urgent care appointments, where a peer or clinician are absent or unavailable.
Provides onsite risk assessment and crisis engagement and facilitates crisis evaluation between client and telehealth clinician as well as follow ups.
Assists and supports building safety checks, inventories, and assigned operational readiness tasks to ensure ES teams are able to efficiently deploy to community.
Complete special projects, administrative or operational tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Job Description:
As a Peer SupportSpecialist on the Homeless Outreach Team, you will be an important member of our team. Using your own lived experiences with recovery, you will build meaningful relationships that empower patients to achieve their personal goals. In this role, you will support patients by offering empathy, encouragement, and practical guidance. You will play an essential in supporting our patients in building recovery capital-the internal strengths and external resources that sustain long-term recovery!

Key Responsibilities:
The Homeless Outreach Peer SupportSpecialist provides recovery-oriented support to individuals in the community living with Severe and Severe Persistent Mental Illnesses
Responsibilities include:
Working with a multi-disciplinary team including clinicians, psychiatrists, case managers, and more to support patients in achieving treatment goals and objectives
Applying stages of change and motivational interviewing skills to meet individuals wherever they are in their recovery journey
Using lived experience to engage individuals in identifying and working toward goals that build on recovery capital
Providing support to individuals that fosters independence, autonomy, and self-advocacy
Assisting individuals to access sustainable community resources that promote wellness and recovery
Acting as an advocate to reduce stigma and promote resiliency
Attending and actively participate in treatment team meetings and individual and group supervisions
Communicating effectively with peers, managers, and support staff
Maintaining and completing all documentation that is required in a timely manner
Complying with regulatory confidentiality requirements as outlined in HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2
Providing support that is sensitive to diverse cultures, languages, and recovery models
Possessing a teamwork ethic and behaving in a manner that aligns with high standards of ethical practice
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have organizational, written, and verbal skills.
Basic computer experience required.
Successful candidates will be organized self-starters who enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
Must be certified as a Peer Specialist or Recovery Coach. Must be eligible for CRSW and Intentional Peer Support certificates.
Must possess a valid driver's license and automobile with liability insurance in the amount required by agency policy.
Experience:
Experience working as a peer specialist in a mental health center setting and/or substance misuse services is highly recommended.

Greater Nashua Mental Health is looking for a full-time CTI Specialist to join our Critical Time Intervention Team! The CTI Specialistsupports clients in critical transition from hospital level care into the community, ensuring connection to services such as mental health, primary care, substance use and developmental services over a 9-month period in an attempt to reduce utilization of the emergency room and hospitals.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Engages with clients in the community with case management and functional support needs to ensure connection to primary care, mental health, substance use and/or developmental services over a 9- month period, in order to reduce readmissions and utilization of the emergency room
Documents and reports engagements with and care of clients
Meets clients in the hospital for pre-CTI (Critical Time Intervention)
Educates and supports referral sources in order to make appropriate referrals
Supports program for fidelity requirements
Attends CTI team meetings, statewide consultation meetings and trainings as necessary
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology or relevant degree
1-2 years of experience
Knowledge of factors and effects of behavioral health disorders
Knowledge of up-to-date principles and techniques of case management and functional support
Ability to manage crises and connect clients with available and appropriate interventions and community resources
Assist clients in applying for food stamps, housing, insurance and other needs
Ability to establish and maintain effective therapeutic and professional relationships with clients served, family members, and behavioral health providers
Strong collaborating skills, and an ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask, and be flexible with regard to workload and assignments
Ability to exercise judgment
Familiarity with community resources
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Email, Word, EXCEL)
