He/she is also responsible for scheduling all spa related appointments, checking guests in and out, and assisting in all retail sales. Process transactions for all events, guest fees, membership fees, dues, etc. Handle all administrative functions of the spa including: using Spa software, maintaining inventory of supplies, answering telephones, making appointments, and answering questions. Must be the initial and complete source of information regarding what is available at the Spa and all procedures to ensure guest comfort (i.e. treatments, equipment and products). Must be able to assist guests in the retail area. Arrange for all spa appointments for ala carte services/activities and packages. Must monitor appointments and ensure proper staffing to maintain sense of order and efficiency. Assist guests and members with spa prescriptions. Ensure facility is prepared for proper opening and closing each day. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facilities including ensuring facility/amenities are in proper working order. Provide Spa tours as necessary. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent and/or 1-year experience in a spa or related field preferred. At least 1-year retail experience preferred. Bi-lingual preferred. Flexible and long hours sometimes required. Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner. Pay Rate: $19.00 an hour with $2.00 an hour additional shift differential on Saturday and Sunday ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Inspect guest rooms and public spaces to ensure compliance with standards, verify room status and notify front desk of room availability and needs Clean and strip rooms, portion cleaning chemicals, remove dirty service items / trash from halls and rooms Turn in lost and found items Monitor rooms and corridors for security purposes Report room damages, out-of-order items and identify areas needing repair and generate maintenance work orders Assist other staff as needed, including cleaning hotel rooms KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Required Knowledge and Certification: 1-year guest room attendant or similar housekeeping experience Preferred Knowledge and Certification: Previous lead experience in a similar position Required Skills: Accurate and detail-oriented Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills including answering radio calls Required Abilities: Ability to work fast and efficiently and complete multiple tasks under pressure while keeping good communication flow with other Hotel staff Ability to meet deadlines Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene Ability to learn appropriate chemical usage / portions and proper equipment usage Ability to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner Ability to serve both internal and external customers Ability to speak in a clear, concise and pleasant voice PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to walk and/or stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 8+ hours Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneel and stoop Must be able to reach and twist routinely Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects routinely Must have the ability to independently lift up to 40 pounds occasionally Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions Must have good eye hand coordination WORKING ENVIRONMENT Work is performed in hotel rooms, bathrooms and laundry area, including exposure to heat and fumes such as cigarette smoke and cleaning chemicals; May require going onto the gaming floor, which includes flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke Must be able to work in cramped, tight quarters Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals

Qualifications: * Experience in a leadership role in hotels, hospitals, or multi-unit housing as a Housekeeping or Cleaning Supervisor. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. * Excellent communication skills; outgoing, friendly, and professional with guests and colleagues. * Ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve success. * Actively engaged and passionate about your work. * Demonstrated professionalism and integrity in all responsibilities.
