SHIFT
1st Shift 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
THE DAY-TO-DAY
Correctly file all possible corrective arc issues using proper tools.
Proper disposition of defective batteries to MRB.
Operate Hydrometer during disposition testing.
Stack batteries on pallet in configuration according to work order.
Operate Wrapping machine and identify malfunctions with the equipment.
Identify arc marks, banding and other defects on batteries, pull from conveyor and sent to repair.
Operator battery washing machine; check PH levels, replenish chemicals as needed.
Conduct HRD testing.
Determine which product parts and raw materials to use for various processes and packaging meets quality requirements and standards.
Assist in set up of automatic equipment.
Assist in the performance of PM on all equipment.
Understanding and complete all required QA reports.
Must be clean shaven
All employees must follow strict hygiene rules including mandatory showering and lunch periods on site.
You must be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma, GED, or greater required.
0-6 months manufacturing/plant experience.
Forklift certification
Basic English proficiency to interpret work and apply safety instructions.
Basic math proficiency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).

Successful candidate will need to fulfill daily production requirements given from the department supervisor. The position will work at various workstations within the stage one battery assembly department. The candidate will be given hands on training by the supervisor and colleagues; this is an exceptional career opportunity. Previous experience is not required but a plus. Overtime may be available.
