Plant Controller Reports to: Fiber Director of Finance A successful candidate will be highly energetic, driven, resourceful and a problem solver. This role plays a key part in supporting the plant's financial operations through daily and monthly accounting responsibilities. These include improving plant-level reporting, ensuring accuracy of inventory records, assisting in the development and implementation of plant-wide policies and procedures, performing detailed financial analysis, reviewing plant reporting and location financial data, and supporting interim and year-end audit requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategic business partner with the Plant Manager and staff, providing strong financial analysis and leadership for the plant Drive actual results to achieve/exceed Plan. Continuously monitor variances, identify risks and opportunities, and initiate corrective actions Identify/initiate actions to improve profitability and asset turns, personally executing as needed.
