The coordinator will administrate both, student employment and student health insurance plan. Responsible for the scheduling of various intercollegiate activities, as well as staffing and managing a student labor team to oversee the day to day operations of our campus fitness center and the general activities of the Student Intramural Program. Serves as the campus wellness advocate, and will coordinate with Concordia Plan Services to actively implement and monitor their various wellness offerings. Provide administrative support for some functions of the Human Resources Office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Health and Wellness:
Oversees all of the enrollment status functions of the student health insurance plan
Has budgetary responsibility for health and wellness, as well as athletic activities
Coordinates with Concordia Plan Services to initiate campus wellness activities and programs to promote items such as physical and mental fitness.
Gathers required immunization and health records for all incoming residential students.
Human Resources:
Executes all activities of the student employment program from application to termination
Performs onboarding for new faculty guest instructors and updates I-9 and direct deposit information for existing instructors
Will perform motor operator background checks for all staff and students requesting permission to operate Seminary owned vehicles. Submits regular authorization reports to Campus Facilities
Will perform routine employee filing maintenance
Other Human Resource duties as assigned.
Athletics and Fitness Center Duties
Supervision of student fitness center coordinator
Prepares and delivers monthly Fieldhouse Usage Report
Scheduling all Intercollegiate matches and games
Coordination with Campus Services regarding gym and field usage schedules
Procurement of officiating for Intercollegiate and Intramural sports
Preparation and communication of athletic event contracts with competition schools
Scheduling transportation for away events when required
Coordinating lodging for away events when required
Works with student fitness center coordinator regarding end of year celebrations
Communicates athletic events of interest in the daily announcements
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
