Job Description
This position leads enrollment management operations strategies and is responsible for executing a detailed project plan for the implementation, continuous development, and upgrades for Slate (by Technolotions). This includes performing analysis, design, development, monitoring technical operations, and testing to ensure the deployment of reliable, secure, and scalable platforms and modules. This position will lead the integration and testing of software platforms to ensure a high level of data integrity. Ensuring the entire enrollment management cycle from lead through alumnus is first class: personalized, timely, and relevant.
Strategic Roles - Leadership
Lead the CRM plan and fully implement the Slate CRM software modules design and build. In addition to continued infrastructure development, annual updates, new features, and processes are implemented.
Leads, updates, and develops onboarding Slate training for Captains, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and End users, including designing training modules for functional Captains of Slate, developing and overseeing online training modules-synchronous and asynchronous-and creating and delivering in-person and online training workshops.
Provides leadership and assignment and oversight of projects and tasks.
Provides professional guidance with a focus on technical development.
Drives the continuous improvement of the team's capabilities & tools.
Strategic Roles - Management
Implement and monitor appropriate technical functions to anticipate performance issues and enhancements for Automation, Campaigns, workflows, and lead generation.
Leveraging system capabilities to improve efficiency and effectiveness through automation and AI.
Develop and manage Axiom Application Programming Interface (API) integrations between enrollment management systems (CRM, Banner, Front Rush, and others).
Manages the security of information system access and user access accounts, builds security protocols and assesses standards and criteria, and develops and manages the annual audit report.
Supports and assists Advancement Slate SMEs within the CRM by fulfilling data audit requests, such as mailing lists, donor rolls, demographics, and giving analysis.
Responsible for Identifying data integrity through careful attention to detail, troubleshooting errors, imports, and data validation, and resolving problems independently and in teams.
Utilize CRM and task management tools to document requirements, plans, and outcomes.
Strategic Roles - Collaboration
Collaborate with Leaders and lead Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) process changes and projects within the student life cycle departments (Marketing, Admission, Advising, Athletics, Advancement, Academics, Registrar, Student Accounts, Financial Aid, Student Life, IT)
Leverages deep knowledge in all aspects of the Ellucian Banner to support Recruitment & Admissions, Registrar and Student accounts, Financial Aid modules, and related third party systems.
Lead the understanding and implementation of lead tracking throughout the Enrollment Management cycle (lead through alumnus).
Serving as a consultant on higher education standards and new trends for enrollment technical operations injunction with the Registrar supporting university academic policies.
Skill Sets

They serve as the primary professional staff available in the residence halls for student support. Living on campus is required. Residence Directors participate in an on call crisis response rotation providing support to the campus 24/7/365 and can have responsibilities that fall beyond traditional business hours.
The secondary role of the Residence Director is for developing a residential education program for Resident Assistants as well as the campus population as a whole. They will work with the Director of Residence Life and Housing Coordinator to manage Housing assignments and develop creative ways to engage with students. Additionally, this position will assist with campus wide programming for the Office of Residence Life.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Community Development
Responsible for the supervision, leadership, and development of a comprehensive living-learning environment housing 150-200 students
Develop intentional assessment practices to address the needs of each community and create action steps to meet those intended outcomes
Create a community development plan for the residential area focused on the learning, growth, and development of students
Establish healthy mentoring relationships through daily interactions with students, mediate conflicts, respond to their needs and refer students to appropriate resources as needed
Serve as a University judicial officer and provide educational guidance in enforcing the CUC Code of Conduct.
Implement the departmental programming model and provide guidance to staff in achieving learning outcomes for the community
Promote the institution's core values in all initiatives and through public discourse
Housing Operations and Administrative Responsibilities
Coordinate day to day operations of the residential area and department such as occupancy, facilities management, hall opening and closing, room selection, and the reassignment process
Manage efficient and accurate operational reports and communicate regularly with necessary offices
Assist the leader of Housing Operations in identifying and resolving facility issues in a timely fashion and proactively identify opportunities to improve the residential environment
Ensure the observance of all Concordia applicable policies, rules, and regulations as well as the laws of the city, state, and nation
Practice fiscal responsibility in the administration and oversight of community programming budget
Educational Supervision
Supervise, train, evaluate and provide leadership to a Resident Assistant staff of 6-10 RA's, 1-2 Community Coordinators.
Assist in the coordination of all department-wide initiatives including RA training, RA selection, room selection, and other programming initiatives and committees as needed
Provide proactive visible leadership within the community to promote the institution's values and services, support residential programming, and market availability
Collaborate with multiple University offices in creating new educational initiatives and developing more efficient practices that seek to create cutting edge residential experiences for students
Crisis Intervention & Response
Participate in an on-call emergency duty rotation throughout the year (evenings and weekends), including academic breaks providing crisis support and response to students
Collaborate with Concordia Public Safety, and other qualified persons on immediate response to incidents in hall, as needed
Provide supportive leadership in responding to the needs of individuals in crisis and make necessary referrals and guidance as needed
Collaborate with multiple student services offices in checking in and following up on the welfare of students and make referrals as needed
Additional Responsibilities
Manage and provide direct oversight over the residence hall front desk system and oversee the establishment of all policies, procedures, staffing, and ensure a best practice approach
Monitor physical condition of residence halls and consult with Housekeeping and Facilities staff for maintenance issues and resolution.
Assist with management of the implementation, organization and execution of StarRez residential data management program and provide continuous updates to the program and training to residence life staff
Assist with maintaining and overseeing accurate Residence Life billing records utilizing StarRez and BANNER databases that reflect contract, meal plan adjustments, and housing charges
Supervise, track, organize, assess, and develop residential RA programming model focused on holistic growth of the individual
Assist in the leadership and development of a year long all-staff training model including Fall training, monthly in-services, Winter training, and creating other initiatives that respond to meeting the needs of the staff, community, and University
Facilitate and maintain year long staff recognition model celebrating staff achievements and success.

* Provide proactive visible leadership within the community to promote the institution's values and services, and support residential programming
* Collaborate with multiple University offices in creating new educational initiatives and developing more efficient practices that seek to create cutting edge residential experiences for students
Crisis Intervention & Response
* Participate in on-call emergency duty rotation throughout the year (evenings and weekends), excluding Christmas, Spring, and Summer academic breaks providing crisis support and response to students
* Collaborate with Department of Public Safety, and other qualified persons on immediate response to incidents in hall, as needed
* Provide supportive leadership in responding to the needs of individuals in crisis and make necessary referrals and guidance as needed
* Collaborate with multiple student services offices in checking in and following up on the welfare of students and make referrals as needed
Oversight of Hall Management
* Assist in the organization, management, development, and implementation of a residence hall government under the direction of the Director of Residence Life
* Serve as an active co-advisor for residence hall staff and residents
* Attend all staff meetings and executive board meetings and provide leadership and counsel as needed
* Research and seek to implement current best practices related to creating an effective residence hall environment
* Assist in the implementation of residence hall programs and provide leadership support as needed

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree required
* Must be actively enrolled in a Concordia University Chicago graduate program
* 1-2 years of undergraduate Residence Life experience OR multiple years of strong leadership experience in student affairs/related field. Preference will be given to candidates with previous residence life experience.
* Concurrent acceptance and full-time enrollment in a certified graduate program for at least 6 credit hours per term with continuous enrollment at Concordia University Chicago. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA to remain eligible for position.
* Successful candidates will be committed to personal growth, embracing Christian values in a collegiate setting, possess mature judgment, educating in a residential environment, and being a skilled student development educator.
* Strong interpersonal and conflict management skills.
* Demonstrated awareness of and sensitivity to diverse student populations.

Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate Degree in Analytics or closely related field (ABD candidates nearing completion may also be considered).
At least one year of teaching experience at the undergraduate level in communication or a closely related discipline.
Demonstrated ability to teach courses in data management, visualization, and analysis with expertise in two or more of the following:
data mining, visualization, and the use of big data
data analytics as it applies to one or more specific industries (e.g. healthcare, sports)
data analytics as it applies to one or more areas of business (e.g. accounting, logistics, human resources)
Evidence of scholarly or professional engagement in data analysis.
Commitment to student success, innovative pedagogy, and faith-integrated education.
