Concordia University Chicago (CUC) invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor for the Exercise Science Doctoral Program. Specifically, the program is seeking a candidate with expertise in Neuromuscular Physiology and Biomechanics. The ideal candidate would have the ability to teach doctoral-level courses related to Neuromuscular Response to Exercise, Biomechanics, and Research Design as it relates to Exercise Science.
Anticipated start date: Summer 2026
Responsibilities/Duties:
Primary responsibility includes teaching 24 credit hours in the doctoral Exercise Science program each year
Responsible for maintaining a courses' curriculum including but not limited to:
Updating required and recommended readings
Updating syllabi
Updating course content
Completing annual assessment map
Additional responsibilities include:
Serving on dissertation committees
Grading comprehensive examinations
Service to the program, department, college, university, profession, and community is expected
Other duties as assigned by the Program Lead and/or Chair
Skill Sets:
Experience with learning management systems, preferred Blackboard

Essential Responsibilities
* Serve as asupervisor to observe and evaluate candidates and student teachers in the field, which involves traveling to various elementary and middle schools.
* Observe and evaluate candidates and student teachers in their clinical and student teaching placements, including informal and formal observations of candidate and student teacher lessons.
* Provide effective, individualized feedback to assist candidates and student teachers in improving their instruction and interactions with children.
* Monitor candidates' and student teachers' progress.
* Guide candidates through their clinical and student teaching requirements.
* Complete, record, and enter data into appropriate platforms for candidates' and student teachers' teaching evaluations and other required forms.
* Collaborate with faculty and staff at the University and clinical sites to meet all appropriate standards and follow all policies and procedures.
* Communicate and buildrelationships with mentor teachers and school administrators to accomplish clinical and student teaching goals and outcomes as well as fulfill responsibilities with partner school districts.
* Teach classes as necessary and participate in student teaching seminars.

The Department of Health Sciences in the College of Science and Health at DePaul University in Chicago invites applications for a Professional Lecturer faculty position (non-tenure track) starting September 1, 2026. The initial appointment is for one year, with the possibility of renewal.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching responsibilities may include existing undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the department, as well as new courses aligned with the candidate's expertise. We seek a public health expert who can teach Epidemiology, Environmental Health, Community Health Assessment, Health Administration, Health Care Policy, and/or related courses. Applicants must demonstrate an interest in contributing to a multidisciplinary department.
Service to the department is expected. Contributions to the MPH program are expected and will include developing/nurturing academic workforce partnerships, mentoring students through the practicum-to-workforce trajectory, and teaching practicum and workforce development courses. Adjustments to the teaching load will be made appropriately.
About the Department
The Health Sciences department trains students to address individual and community health through a collaborative approach that integrates natural and social science perspectives. We serve 500 undergraduate students pursuing a BS degree with concentrations in Bioscience or Public Health Sciences, and 40 graduate students pursuing an MPH degree with concentrations in Community Health Practice or Social Epidemiology.

We are inviting applications for a Spring 2025 full-time faculty position appointed in the Department of Applied Health Sciences' Medical Laboratory Science program. We seek a faculty member with American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)certification and expertise in Microbiology who can teach within the NAACLS accredited program.
This position is responsible for in-person classroom and laboratory instruction to graduate laboratory science students at the Health Science campus of Loyola University Chicago, located in Maywood, Illinois. The primary teaching responsibilities for this position will include Microbiology laboratories, Leadership, and Basic Laboratory skills for medical laboratory scientists. Other responsibilities will include laboratory preparation for Microbiology and Blood Bank.
Essential Responsibilities:
* Design and deliver course material to students to provide entry level laboratory competency.
* Teach MLS students (including didactic and laboratory sessions) in courses as assigned based on needs of the Medical Laboratory Science program during weekday and weekend daytime hours
* Lead in student laboratory activity set-up for Microbiology and Blood Banking
* Contribute to continuous programmatic improvement through feedback on the curriculum
Required Qualifications
* Education: Master's degree or higher
* Current MLSCM certification
* A minimum of 3 years of experience and practice in medical laboratory science
* One year experience in medical laboratory science education in the last five years
* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues as part of a team

Specifically, the program is seeking a candidate with expertise in Scientific Writing and Measurement & Evaluation Techniques in Health & Human Performance. The ideal candidate would have the ability to also teach graduate-level courses related to cardiovascular and neuromuscular responses to exercise and/or sports nutrition.
