Responsibilities
Essential Duties
Measure freight and enter information into the computer system
Perform simple mathematical calculations regarding freight measurements
Look up and apply correct classifications to the freight
Generate and submit reports regarding freight weights and measures
Process all paperwork daily associated with the execution of the job
Lift various types of materials including cartons, bags, cylinders, boxes, crates, drums, pipe, bars, rugs, etc.

Experience operating an XRF instrument (preferably Viken Detection Pb200i Handheld XRF Lead Paint Analyzer) for use in LBP inspections or willingness to learn.
Experience with procedures for collecting lead paint chip samples or willingness to learn.
Flexibility to various work schedules and situations related to emergency response scenarios.
Ability to complete inspections and subsequent paperwork independently, as well as occasionally working onsite and in the office with other team members.
Ability to carry and climb ladders and use hand and power tools.
Ability to wear a respirator, safety harness, and other safety equipment as needed.
Strong commitment to punctuality and reliable attendance.
Solid verbal communication skills.

About the Role
As an Atmospheric Corrosion Inspector, you will conduct regulated inspections on natural gas meter sets and above-ground piping systems to identify, document, and mitigate atmospheric corrosion. Your work plays a vital role in maintaining system integrity and preventing safety hazards.
This position requires outdoor work, field documentation, interaction with customers and property owners, and strict adherence to federal guidelines.
What You'll Do
Perform Regulated Atmospheric Corrosion Inspections
Conduct thorough visual and physical examinations of gas meter sets exposed to the atmosphere.
Inspect corrosion-prone areas such as:
Soil-to-air interfaces
Pipe supports
Splash zones
Disbonded coatings
Exposed metallic components
Assess coating integrity and identify signs of surface rust, pitting, or advanced corrosion.
Perform Remediation When Needed
Conduct surface-level remediation at Heath's/client's discretion, including:
Wire brushing
Cleaning
Priming
Painting using approved materials
Application of protective coatings
Use Industry-Approved Tools & Technology
Utilize handheld equipment and specialized tools for corrosion assessment.
Use CGI/sniffer equipment for leak detection when required (including Minnesota inside meter protocols).
Complete all documentation in Survey123 / Service Suit, entering:

Notes on anomalies or corrosion
Identify and Report Safety Issues

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
15+ years of construction and quality management experience.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, or a related field.
Experience with managing field engineering, inspection, and NDE related to all QA/QC functions.
Proficient with reading, understanding, and interpreting plans, specifications, drawings, contracts, and other documents pertaining to MEP aspects of projects.
Ability to develop and manage non-conformance, defects, and reporting programs, including root cause analysis.
Ability to ensure that correct codes, standards, job specifications, project procedures, and federal and provincial regulations are properly identified, correctly specified in detail, and met or exceeded.
Ability to work in high-production environments and respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Technical knowledge of materials and construction concepts.
Experience working as an Electrical QA/QC Supervisor for large commercial, industrial, or mission-critical facilities construction projects.
An excellent understanding of construction Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Familiarity with punch list procedures and project closeout processes.
Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
Strong knowledge of high, medium, and low-voltage systems, HVAC, control systems, commissioning, LEED/Green building projects, and general ground-up construction projects as applicable to MEPS.
Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Construction Quality Manager Certification (CCQM)

Scope of Responsibility:
This position is responsible for inspecting tacked, welded, painted, galvanized and manufactured parts and components for quality per the Company's quality control processes and procedures.
Essential Duties:
* Communicates clearly and concisely via email, text, or verbally
* Ensures all inspections comply with Sabre's quality standards
* Conducts in process and final visual weld and dimensional inspections in accordance with AWS D1.1
* Verifies and maintains inspection and test status of product during all stages of manufacturing
* Verifies rework and repair of nonconforming products
* Initiates requests for corrective action on observed conditions which do not conform to quality system requirements
* Prepares, reviews and maintains Quality records appropriate to inspection and test activities to assure legibility, completeness, and correctness of the information
* Visually inspects manufactured parts to ensure they are manufactured per the drawings/specifications
* Ensures that customer requirements are determined and met or exceeded
* Contributes to a safe working environment by being responsible for quality, safety, organization, and cleanliness in area of operation
* Contributes to team effort by communicating and working well with others, as well as accomplishing related tasks as needed
* Maintains a professional demeanor at all times
* Additional duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent. Two-year Associate/Technical degree preferred. Must be able to meet the AWS D1.1 requirements of a visual weld inspector.
* Recent experience working with Quality Control in a welding/manufacturing environment preferred
* Effectively read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
* Must possess strong English verbal and written communication skills
* Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, team environment
* Must possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety and quality manuals, blueprints, and design drawings
* Ability to efficiently input and retrieve information from PC based information systems
* Ability to effectively use measuring devices such as a tape measure, combination squares, levels, etc. to accurately verify all parts to print
* Regular and timely attendance is required
Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to perform work functions while standing for long periods of time.
* Must be able to lift, push pry and drag heavy materials up to 50 lbs.
* Must be able to reach, grasp, bend, stoop, crawl under or climb over to inspect product
* Must be able to pass the Jaeger 2 test and distinguish between red and yellow
* Must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, and in all types of weather conditions such as rain, snow, heat, and cold
