Aerotek is looking to hire several Concrete Laborers to travel to Thompson, OH to work at newly constructed Hotel. The pay is up to $25 an hour, $80 dollars a day per diem, 68 hours a week . Title: Concrete Laborer

Pay: $23- $25hr with $80 per diem

Shift: Monday to Friday, 12 hour shift Saturday 8 hour shift 68 hours total

Location: Thompson, OH

Description:

-Laying out and setting concrete forms

-Tying in reinforcement / rebar

-Placing connection plates

-Pouring and Finishing concrete

recast concrete wall panels for stadiums, airports, large retail buildings, and other commercial projects

•making rough cuts on lumber to build forms using power tools

-Must have experience:

3+ years as commercial concrete finisher

Must be able to finish concrete

Must be able to layout and set concrete forms

Place Connection plates

68 hour weeks for travelers and $480 per diem ($80 per diem per day worked x 6 days)

At $23 per hour, 68 hour week makes $1,886 per week, with per diem total made is $2,366 per week

At $25 per hour, 68 hour week makes $2,050 per week with per diem total made is $2,530 per week

Job Description

Summary

We work in repairing concrete, asphalt, lot marking, sealcoating, crack sealing and infrared repairs. We do everything that entails maintaining parking lots.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); some general construction experience preferred.

• A general aptitude and ability in the areas of preparation and installation of asphalt and concrete repairs, Cracksealing, Sealcoating and Catch Basin Repair is preferred but not required.

• To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

The Paving Batch Plant Laborer performs tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. Skilled and proficient at operating all hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials. May assist supervisors in the execution of tasks and project work.
Duties & Responsibilities:

* Control traffic passing near, in, or around work zones.
* Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
* Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials.
* Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities.
* Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications.
* Measure, mark, or record openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed.
* Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, or rakes.
* Mix, pour, or spread concrete, using portable cement mixers.
* Tend pumps, compressors, or generators to provide power for tools, machinery, or equipment or to heat or move materials, such as asphalt.
* Erect or dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, or other temporary structures.

Education & Experience:

* High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
