Working as a Banquet and Conference Manager, you will manage events and offer personalized solutions for our clients while working with our operations team to make sure we exceed our client's expectations.
Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinates and oversees catering events for banquets and conferences
* Develops and maintains the catering and event plan including a comprehensive event planning and conference service to clients including detailed menu development and conference planning
* Hires, trains, and schedules catering/event staff, and will be actively involved in the development of existing catering staff in service techniques, menu presentation, policies, and procedures
* Ensures successful operations of catering functions including labor cost control, foods cost control and preparation, transportation, setup, operation, and cleanup of all events
* Books, selects and costs menu items, pricing contracts, and resourcing temporary help and equipment experience is key

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree is required in Hospitality or Culinary Arts, Bachelor's degree Preferred
* Minimum of five years of experience in hospitality industry including four years in management (preferably Catering Management) is required
* The ability to supervise food preparation, service and clean up is also essential
* ServSafe Certified a plus
* Must have a valid clean driving license

We are seeking a Sr. Associate Sponsorships/Conferences Manager who will work directly with leadership, bankers and other key partners to develop and implement strategic sponsorship marketing plans for our Innovation Economy Business (Tech & Disruptive Commerce, Life Sciences and Venture Capital) designed to drive meaningful client and prospect engagement.

Reporting to the Head of Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries Conferences & Sponsorships , the Innovation Economy sponsorship manager will oversee multiple, projects simultaneously with a focus on 1) supporting the strategic oversight and execution of Innovation Economy sponsorships that drive growth and support business goals and 2) tracking, analyzing and measuring success.

This role requires a strategic and creative thinker with strong work ethic. Additional important attributes for the role include: efficient end-to-end project management expertise, excellent communications skills, sound judgement, extreme comfort working in a fast-paced environment, detail orientation and the ability to adapt and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
**Sponsorship responsibilities**

+ Develop and deliver strategic sponsorship programs that reach and drive meaningful interactions with prospects to drive awareness of CB's capabilities + deepen relationships with clients to support business goals.

+ Manage junior sponsorship strategy support associate.

+ Partner closely with sales and marketing directors to reimagine sponsorship program; ensure sponsorships are aligned to broader business goals and marketing campaigns.

+ Lead cross functional project teams across marketing and communications to execute programming. Depending on the candidate, opportunity directly manage team members.

+ Evaluate Innovation Economy sponsorships ensure they are aligned with business priorities; obtain and track approvals. Research and identify new opportunities. This includes identifying key performance indicators, measure and report on the effectiveness of executed plans.

+ Pre-sponsorship responsibilities such as leading sales planning committees, crafting internal comms, building briefing templates, coordinating with content and social media teams on associated marketing materials / promotion of the sponsorship.

+ Post- sponsorship responsibilities such analyzing programs for effectiveness, ROI analysis and sharing results to maximize ROI

+ Develop pre- and post- event comms plans for sponsorships to drive greater awareness off CB's capabilities across the ecosystem. Partner with marketing COEs to execute (email, digital, social).

+ Oversee sponsorship vendor relationships, maintaining contacts at venues and negotiating new opportunities based on past learnings.

+ Some onsite event staffing, which may include directly assisting with (and/or managing onsite team responsible for) registration desk management, distribution of materials, oversight of presentations/AV needs, and coordination with vendors.

+ Post-event tasks such as final data management and event debrief documents.

**Qualifications**

+ A minimum of 5 years of work experience in marketing, events or sponsorships
