QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline preferred, not required.

SKILLS NEEDED:

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Maintain ISO certification by administrating and constant improvement of a PM program.
New PM procedures need to be written for any machine added to KPE list. Most new machines or systems will be added.

PM tasks need to be scheduled and tasks recorded.
Research and implement a CMMS system
- Establish work order system & record keeping.
- Establish maintenance inventory & parts system.
- Incorporate ISO PM if practical.
Install and maintain all network and communication wiring and cabling.
Maintain all machine and facility operator and service manuals.
Regulatory compliance as it pertains to machinery, facility, and grounds.
OSHA LOTO. Update lock out procedures, enforce employee training and compliance.
- “Energy Control Procedure” must be written for every machine.
- LOTO program must be maintained and kept up to date.
Develop compliance with NFPA 70 E. Electrical Safety.
Schedule & administer city water backflow testing.
Schedule & administer NPDES permit.
- Wastewater testing and reports.
- Wastewater Operators certification.
Schedule & administer city portable fire extinguisher & wet sprinkler system & fire alarm systems annual testing and certification.
Machinery installations and plant floor relocations and reconfigurations.
Move and install systems, machinery or departments as directed by Plant Engineer.
Utilize in-house staff and outside contractors as needed. Including electrical distribution, pneumatic, communications, water, HVAC and other building systems.
SKILLS NEEDED:
Extensive knowledge of the operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical power and control, pneumatic and hydraulic systems as they relate to production machinery and industrial facility systems.
Able to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic blueprints and schematics.
Knowledge of 120/208v and 277/480v industrial electrical distribution systems and wiring.
Working knowledge of industrial compressed air distribution systems.
Working knowledge of HVAC systems.
Analytical & organizational skills necessary to plan and prioritize work, complete work on schedule and maintain required records and logs.
Ability to manage and motivate maintenance department personnel.
Computer literate and competent in the Microsoft Office suite of products.
Experience with AutoCAD preferred.

Responsibilities:
The Engineering Project Manager will schedule, coordinate, and maintain effective “cradle to grave” control over multiple projects.
